e: pip, you smell, gin is just fine

I suggest that it is YOU who smells

a friend of mine once quipped that the taste of gin was "not unlike going down on a pinecone"

    how drole

t grey: about the same for me
    started in paralyzers
moved to double g+ts with no ice/no lime in a single glass
    then started drinking long islands
now i'm between the long islands and putting basically 6 shots of frangelico and 6 shots of vanilla vodka into a wine glass and sipping it
because i am terrible but wow it works fast

either good tequila, or whiskey/bourbon are my liquors of choice

whiskey/rum + coke is my go-to at bars that i don't trust to make classy drinks for classy people i.e. most bars I go to in charleston

    This
    8781.jpg

Is pretty awesome. I would say it is on par with most major single malt scotches and bourbons. It would most likely be prohibitively expensive to purchase in the US but if you ever get the chance try it out. After having lived in Kentucky and gone on several bourbon tours and still crawls I can tell you it has the chops to stand with the greats. One of my favorite drinks.

i don't like gin but there's a special place in my heart for a Gin Bucket

    served in a bucket

I could drink no hard liquor beside whiskey and gin and live a perfectly happy life

whiskey neat, whiskey on the rocks, whiskey and coke, whiskey sour, old-fashioned
gin and tonic, gin and juice, tom collins
    and so on

    perfection

Oh my goodness a fellow gin drinker

    I never find you

Gimlets are my personal favorite with gin, but I'm a big fan of the gin and tonic as well. And the salty dog

I pretty much drink like an old timey sea captain
