Jam, Mike is going to examine around the area, looking for any sign of wear or interaction. Is there any damage done on the floor? Is the floor seamed or a continuous structure? Is there a hole ABOVE the spot, or anything which COULD move?
I'll let you roll the thievery check per rules... Mike has a crowbar as well and will use it to sound out the floor/wall/roof for hollow spots
I'm cool with sleeping in the church of goodness before we futz with stuff. As long as we set a guard rotation...

Fresh meat for the slaughter if one of you find folks should pass away due to an "unfortunate" "accident".
For your consideration and all your face smashing needs I give you Gaaki the female half-orc barbarian. Her entire life has been dedicated to the smashing of things, and getting paid to do so is just icing on the cake! Won't you let her smash things for you ;-).
Now that a new day has arisen, it seems Derek needs to swap out some daily spells from his spellbook. Before we get into combat proper, I'd like to have that sorted. (Oops. I think I used a one or two daily's too many in that gargoyle or sketon fight. Shhh, don't tell the DM.)
Fireball (most favorite spell EVER!) and Ice Storm seem kinda useless here in this tight dungeon. Alas, I don't want to catch you guys in its radius.
Today, Derek will memorize Flaming Sphere, Acid Arrow and Wall of Fire. But I don't have any big range heavy hitter spells today. Hope that won't cause a problem. Thoughts?
Sorry, another small 'DM has the plague' break. If whoever has highest init doesn't really need the map then just go for it. I'll catch up when I'm not dying.
I think Derek does. I believe he will use all of his actions to run the fuck away from the charmed Dragonborn while pleading for his life and telling Arjhan to calm down and come to his senses.
I'd be willing to do this.
I mean, as much as "Tomb of Horrors" sounds hells of foreboding. What did you need? I'd rather not sign up as something we don't need

An extended rest would be GREAT! In fact, Derek will insist to the group that needs to rest to replenish his spells.
Did Daniant's natural 20 reveal everything? Do I need/should make an Arcana check to follow up?
Also, since nobody spoke up, Derek will keep that ring and thank you very much.

We also have a coin slot in the wall, and stoppered jars in the corners. Does someone want to open the jars?
Is there anything on the altar or in the room entire that looks like it fits into the coin slot? Would an actual coin?
