I just had LASIK eye surgery. Lets talk about eyes. And surgeries (and lasers?)

    Watch the video in the o.p. where they use that little slicing machine to cut off his cornea or whatever.

    As soon as I saw what the video was I hid it again. That would ruin my day if I saw that.

    And movie where someones eye gets messed up I have such a gut wrenching cringe that I end up missing the next minute or so of the movie.

    Man I'd be surprised if there were an eye surgeon you couldn't out run.

    I had PRK done two years ago, and my vision is still fine.

    Unlike lasik they don't make a cut into your eye they just shave off your layer of protective skin over the eye then reshape it then put a contact lens on your eye and for a few days you suffer through a bunch of pain.

    Then slowly your vision gets better and better, takes a bit. Lasik you usually get results right away.

    This will haunt my dreams tonight. A crazy olympian optometrist who wants nothing more than to operate on my eyes.

    NO Rane, don't you know there is an unspoken rule that if you post a pic of your glasses for other people to judge, they must be almost impossible to make out clearly? You must also be at a wedding.

    they are dark dark brown and I have really thick lashes

    you gotta crawl inside them to see that they're anything but black

    e: a camera with flash does it too

    or wearing bright clothes on a bright day

    My eyes are grey green, like pine needles. They're really dark and get mistaken for brown all the time.
