Totally deserved, though. No matter what you may think of the film (I enjoyed it purely as entertainment and WOO MONSTERS), the makeup was fantastic.

I'm a few minutes behind on my DVR, but Trent Reznor has really cleaned up nice since 1996 (which was probably the last time I'd seen a picture of him).
Anyway, is it just me, or does James Franco's tux make him look like the Matt Smith on Doctor Who?
I was actually thinking Morgan Freeman was kind of wearing the same outfit as Smith in the opening skit, but I'm watching this on a cruddy projector, so I could be totally wrong.
Oh I totally agree about the Wolfman's effects deserving it. I just think its funny when these movies that really aren't anything special (other than the one standout in sound, effects, ect) slap that on the box starting tomorrow morning.
Also I had no idea Zachary Levi could sing.

Yeah, I worked in a video store and it was always funny seeing what kind of garbage got to make the "Academy Award Winner" claim.
Of course, that also happens with actors. Like Gone In 60 Seconds, featuring ACADEMY AWARD WINNER Nicholas Cage and ACADEMY AWARD WINNER Angelina Jolie.
Fuck ya'll, I still liked that movie. But it ain't "good."
And I'm actually considering picking up the soundtrack to The Social Network. I loved the music that much.
Anyone know who the 2 totally random people they cut to when Oprah was talking were? They looked very disinterested and I thought it was a really, really bad take by the director.
THEN I realized that maybe they were sitting in the seats for Banksy, and the director took the shot knowing he had to do it then, because if they lost (which they did), he'd never get the chance again.
Just curious because it was pretty random.

Crazy world we live in.
Stop looking so nasty hot, Scarlett Johansson.
Also, you could see it in his eyes...tonight was the night Trent Reznor decided to chase the EGOT.
The effects looked awesome.
Edit: Alice in Wonderland is gonna nab another one
Pretty disappointed in ScarJo's dress, she's usually a cert for some mad cleavage.

EDIT: From Good Will Hunting, if you're not immediately familiar with it.
Jesus.
This guy puts me in a bad mood.
And I don't even like Trent Reznor!

They really put everything in the intersect.
Short People Got No Reason To Live
I want that song in Rock Band so so badly.

That was absolutely fantastic. The rest was pretty meh.
And oh, how I just don't care about Oprah Winfrey.
I liked them both, but I'll give the edge to Gift Shop, personally. I probably wouldn't watch Restrepo again.

At this point I can't really even understand her God-like media status.
She's made a living off of exploiting the idle lives of middle-class housewives, and somehow the world treats her like a deity.
....wrong? I think?
dammit man, nolan says we're supposed to have our own interpretations and thats the whole point
I'm just reminded every time I see a clip.
He meant, "It feels like a dream to win this Oscar, but whatever, this is awesome."
