Ein, I might be able to host the mirror server for you. I have a pc that I use for media that could handle the hardware side easily enough, but I'm not sure about the bandwidth side. I ran a speedtest on my connection, and this is what I'm getting right now:

Just watched the Youtube Vid for rapture. Is there anyway to show the stats anymore of which sites have linked to it. Uses to be easy to bring up that info but It doesn't seem easy to do anymore.

Really though, I just want something equally creepy as the Herobrine. It doesn't have to be a player model, just a monster that comes up occasionally to scare the crap out of you.

I hope Notch implements visitors to your Minecraft Singleplayer Worlds (and portal hopping between your own worlds) first . Inviting someone to your Fable 2 singleplayer campaign was awesome, but this would be friggin buckets of awesome sauce. That and floating blocks to build a proper moving battleship.....

Yeah, but I mean, I've been on that server before and I haven't seen hide nor hair of any PA guys, or harassment. And I have a hard time imagining that some of you guys might be trolling them, just because none of the guys who actually get on our build server are the type.

besides, the guy seems like one of those that won't listen to anything you/we have to say. I'd bet money that the convo you have with him via youtube will go nowhere
He pretty much just screwed over his viewers anyways. (why would you put crap like UMAD in your own overlay comments)

This is the kind of mentality that spawned that video I'm sure. "WE MADE IT FIRST! NO ONE ELSE CAN MAKE COLUMBIA!! LETS SPAM IRRATIONAL UNTIL WE ARE RECOGNIZED!"
But yeah, it was probably like one guy who claimed he was from PA and this guy flipped out about it.
The whole "I DID IT FIRST!" thing is so childish and stupid. It's the same kind of mentality that gives people jollies by sticking "FIRST!" at the top of a comment thread.
I don't work at Irrational and I'm in this forum, so I'm obviously biased, but I'm pretty sure their recognition had less to do with who did it first or even who built the biggest model and more to do with the attention to detail not only in Rapture itself but in Ein's production of the video. Using the game music and sound effects, re-skinning other players and items to match stuff in Rapture... Even if the city were less awesome, the effort and care that went into making the video would impress me more, were I responsible for the original game, than just uploading a video of a Minecraft model.
