In the end, we decided that Sand was superficially very similar to Flight editor Kazu Kibuishi's unbelievable Daisy Kutter series, and felt that aping him in his own God-damn book was probably impolite.

not to be confused with Sci-fi with Western added or Sci-fi so futuristic it's Western again, those aren't as best

Other items from the back of that book: a Cardboard Tube Samurai origin story and the first "chapter" (which I believe was put online somewhere) of an action comic called Over Easy. Oh, and yeah, Automata.

In some of the PATV episodes and podcasts Gabe and Tycho worry about what they are going to do if penny arcade ends.

If they can put out great stuff like this, automata, lookouts, whatever, I really don't think they have anything to worry about.

I would read the hell out of anything they made.
