Borderlands is a game from 2K that basically takes a Diablo style loot crawl and puts it, along with other RPG elements, into an FPS.

A shitload of people bought it yesterday as a result of there being a steam sale and I know there are a shitload of people who already had it and probably want people to play with

so TALK ABOUT BORDERLANDS AND GET SOME CO-OP GOING AND SHIT IN THIS THREAD

    I first played through as Roland, but Brick is so much more fun. Especially when you get an elemental artifact for his fists.

    All running around like GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

    Exploding everything by punching it.

    More games should allow players to kill things by punching them in the butt.

    I more use the turret to get ammo / health back.


    It's pretty boss, never having to go to an ammo or health store.

    The turret is nice, but it's really a support ability, not heavy offense.

    My borderlands won't run any more after my video card crapped out and I downgraded cheap :(

    Hopefully there are dudes still playing if I ever get it fixed

    Berserking requires no preparation or strategy.

    It also has very little range, since you become really fast when using it

    Granted, the turret is beastly if you spent points on the rocket and use it on a tight pack of enemies.

    But nothing beats the death from above maneuver with an exploding fist.

    When I played my two buddies where sirens and I was brick. When I could berzerk I was insane, the rest of the time I was their meat shield and did little damage

    That's why I liked Roland so much. With his infantry and support tree upgrades, you can basically run in and shoot everything in the face, or at worst kite stuff around and kill it over time.
