    So today I have to go to the financial aid office. Sign a paper and offer a letter to explain my grades in Fall 2010 because it turns out that my financial aid is being withheld because of low grades that semester.

    I wasn't enrolled in fall 2010.

    So either I was readmitted to school with absolutely no chance of actually going and i've gone through all of the motions for nothing or else it's just a small thing and everything will be okay. I am supposed to move in Saturday and I have been making calls to the financial aid office to find out why my status was "pending" since December and first I was told it would be fixed by January. Then once January came I was told it would be fixed the next day. Then the next etc. Until yesterday when someone finally said "oh it says here that we need you to turn in a document for your GPA last semester."

    The day before that I found out that my girlfriend cheated on me.

    I am not sure what to think about anything anymore and I think if all of this blows up I will have a very difficult time convincing myself that there is merit in bad things because they make us stronger in the end.

    Dudeward, you have my sympathies. When I was put on academic suspension the first time they didn't tell me until 5 days before the semester started :/

    They also sent me a bill for classes they wouldn't let me drop once they suspended me.

    University sucks. College sucks :( I'm sorry it's all piling up on you right now.

    It's all just been very sudden. I think i've been working pretty damn hard to get things back on track and finish my schooling. I went through reinstatement procedures. They've sent me my schedule and board information and I've got books on the way.

    Looked forward to being where I was a few days ago for more than half a year. It was pretty much my solitary motivation and I thought I actually managed to reach the goal. Silly really and it's all my fault so I should be able to handle it better if things take a turn for the worse.

    Try not to be too hard on yourself. It's a long and difficult road to get back to that place and you've done well to get this far. It's just a little bit further now. Just some paperwork really.

    As for the non-school related things... I can offer only my condolences.

    God my router is a piece of shit.

    It has apparently forgotten how DHCP works and refuses to give my Macbook an IP address if I have any form of WLAN encryption active. If I turn encryption off, it works.

    That is vladimir and he is trollfacing because that's what fucking vladimir does. The asshole.

    His sanguine pool makes him untargetable for like... 3 or 4 seconds and he can move around and what not, also does damage, slows and leaches life off everything standing on him. All on a 20 second or less cooldown.

    I got really annoyed by not knowing whether it considered the ambiguously lethal stealth takedowns as "killing" so then I eventually just punched out the guards and still that counted

    Fsck allows you to have a sense of closure during your everyday development life. Here's some examples:

    A difficult problem causing you frustration? Tell it how you feel.

    Your application will take a massive performance hit if you use this gem. The benchmark I ran on Fixnum (bench.rb) shows that using a fscked method is roughly 23485.707692308 slower. That's 23.5k. Use at your own risk.
