Friends don't let friends cosplay at PAX East.

I like to do things like leave the convention hall and grab food and be treated like a normal adult and that's hard to do when you're walking around with Inu Yasha and an out-of-shape Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2.

There's a reason we didn't invite you to the orgy last year.

Oh man, I had sex with so many forumers. We did things that would make a whore blush.
    Khoo even showed up!

Sorry you had to miss it.

    Ask Heather about it sometime.

True fact: PAX East is the only PAX where you can punch Goose in the blubber for being Goose and being a Jets fan.

You falsely identify too much. I root for the Jets, but I am a Giants fan. And there will be no punching this year.

That depends on the outcome of Sunday's game.

Who will flag down a party bus?

Who will lead an entire group of SE people into traffic?

Who will turn around and realize that there are 10 people following as he guides a small group to breakfast only to find out that the place has 3 seats and whoops turns out we found a diner where someone in our group got food spilled on them...spaghetti, I believe?

I need to price out flights now. Not keen on the idea of driving. But if we're not working yet driving would be the cheapest way to do it.

It'd be about $200 in gas total versus $235 for one roundtrip ticket.

I'm kind of debating getting a hotel room in boston

even if its a 45 minute drive, parking is a bitch (and leaving late at night assumedly)

Just plan which parking garage you're going to park in. A hotel room is way more expensive than parking.

I'd try to find a cheap hotel room or something.

Trains stop hella early in boston, and while parking at a train station like Alewife is really easy, it's also a pain in the ass to get back to the station if the trains stop running.

I drove in everyday last year and it wasn't exactly efficient, but I was also juggling work with PAX and Sheri visiting, so it involved driving in and out of the city more than once a day.

My most immediate suggestion would be to feel around to see if anyone has spare room in their hotel room and help pitch in for the night(s) you would be staying in town.

If you're driving, I'd try parking on top of South Station like Sarah and I did when we took the bus to NYC a few times. It's super-cheap parking and the Silver Line busses take an underground bus route to the BCEC. no transfers or other messy business!

I honestly do not think most people know about the South Station lot because it's always 75% unoccupied.
