Hey muffins could I build a manor house south of the train station in English Town?
I haven't marked anything out but I was planning on having a garden as well as the main house bit, maybe make a tunnel/remove a bit of the mountain/hill that would be separating it from the main town.
Has anyone seen the Minecraft videos of the guys who have created functional 8 and 16 bit ALU's using redstone + torches?
I just watched a few and it blew my mind. Some people.

I wasn't careful and opened up the gates of hell into one of my storerooms, and in the end I end up losing a couple double chests of cobble, 4 stacks of iron (sorry rail builders), 8 stacks of grain, over a dozen diamonds. I think I may have lost more crap in this one incident than every other incident in total. Minecraft!!!!

I opened up a big giant dark cavern and then a group of creepers came out and blew me and the chests up. So I got some wood, ran back and to tried close the cave off and get everything into chests, and then *boom*. When I got back I got like one chest refilled and stuff from the first explosion despawned.
I was wondering if anybody knew who made the huge dirt cube. I was hoping to move my current project of building an 8-bit cpu into it so I don't ugly up my neighborhood. If nobody knows would that be kosher?

ha new project idea. Make a redstone display and qwerty keyboard out of pressure plates so you could type things by hopping around on the keyboard.

I will get nuka to put it in the OP soon, and so if someone wants to join the server they just need to ask us and give us your minecraft username so we can whitelist you.
Edit: If anyone finds any problems or errors post them here and I will take a look at them.
On the minetrack to Englishtown I managed to die due to something so I had a gander and there was a block above the track. I assumed it was that so I removed it.
It may have been intentional or whatever so I thought I'd let you know in case it was.
Oh holy shit, I was making and deleting new maps in singleplayer and it looks like the map can randomly come back in a new season with the same exact features. I was on summer it looks like, and now its the same place but it looks like fall and snow's starting to collect, with "summer" 200 blocks away now. The torches I placed are in the same spot from the last map I deleted...
or it could just be a gigantic chunk error that's really well hidden.

I logged into the new server and to the right of my house, in the lake, someone built a long shaft without stairs or anything going straight down. I jumped down there after taking all my equipment off to see what it was. It had 3 rooms with candles and glowstone blocks for a ceiling. One of the rooms had lava coming out of it's walls.
Anyone building something there? I'd like to know so I don't dig into it when I make my personal cart track.
