Oh snap US is less healthy than England, who knew?
"Why health status differs so dramatically in these two countries, which share much in terms of history and culture, is an unresolved puzzle."
..what history does the US and UK share post 1783?
Culturally they'll be massively different as well, y'know, 250 years after they stopped being the same country.
I don't understand why this is a puzzle...
I mean, how about the fact England doesn't consume anywhere near the same amount of food as America in one day, nor are its foodstuffs as rich in fat, colouring, content and other stuff.
And also fundementally the country is generally a bit fitter. It might not go for jogs regularly, but it's certainly heard of walking.
Yes, I'm sure you could market your personal sleeping cocktail.
Was just nice to sleep in my own bed.
You didn't end up in hospital?
I did and was there until 11am in the er with noise and light everywhere and getting blood taken and shit. Had been awake for about 27 hours when i got home.
Japan and Australia do. I'd guess NZ too. Maybe India?
All the best countries.
Ireland too.
For what it's worth.

I was convinced you drove on the right for some reason. Or is it just that you use km/h for your speeds?
They use km/h, but drive on the left. Otherwise you'd read about a lot of accidents near Newry, Enniskillen, Monaghan, Cavan, Letterkenney, Sligo and Dundalk.

All of our roadsigns are in glorious metric, yet people will still refer to miles for distance and speed with predictable frequency.
edit: As someone who was born and raised in Sligo i can tell you that our road accident rate is high enough as is. It's got a heady mix of boy racers and people who view drink-driving as a rite of passage and an occasional necessity as opposed to something unbelievably fucking dumb.

I presumed they had introduced switchover bits, not just let the roads run into one another :P

Thing is, you're dealing with roads built before there was a border. The main Belfast-Dublin motorway might be adapted like this, but all the little country roads and bridges in the Western areas would be rather awkward to change.

Where I'm from, the designated Boy Racer town is Draperstown. I went on a drive there one day, and within five miles had seen one recent crash and two or three cars that had been abandoned less recently.
Look, we invented dividing the road into two halves of traffic travelling in different directions, so our way is the correct way. Fact.
And you know who said we should drive on the right? [strike]Hitler[/strike] Napoleon!

and it turns out I only have one SATA cable in my dorm so I can't use the windows 7 disc to repair bootmanager so it works with the cloned HDD.

Nobody drives on the same road as the UK.
They are pretty dumb about that.
