You drew aggro like a son of a bitch in Mana Tombs. Maybe it was the mortal strike causing need for more healing or something, but Salvation solved the problem nicely either way.

Contrary to popular belief, the mana draining is not an issue for Paladin tanking unless really its punishing somehow. By the time the Darkcasters in the Tombs drain me, aggro is already solid and healing will generate enough aggro to maintain. Shit, if you're slick you can generally stun, silence and generally stop the mana drains from ever happening. The damage from the mana drain is more of a threat than the mana loss will ever be.

Also, energy beacons can attack and having all of them along with Shaffar on the tank is suicide. Don't bother keeping threat on them and things are fine. They die fast enough that they won't be a threat to healers anyhow.

Relax, I am just kidding. Though I did have all 5 points in Subtlety, I would pull aggro off of warriors half the time anyway, that wasn't different with you than it was with them. The asshole in me enjoys listening to you get so upset about everyone else there questioning paladin tanking.

Though Spell Reflect makes a big difference in the Shaffar fight, thats just one mid-level boss, so who cares.

I was only upset because Rinder didn't want to do much of anything besides bitch about Paladin tanking rather than try to make things work for our group set-up.

And come raid time, I think your inner asshole is going to have a blast.

man, I can tear through massive numbers of these naga bitches in bear form - imp lotp, swipe and 4-6 mobs on me? endless rage and it seems my health never even drops - I love it.

I've since shelved my warrior for the time being - got her to 62 and got so sick of dying when I'd get a single add that I decided to level my druid all the way to 70... then try her again later.

oh and I just got lifebloom a little bit ago... it honestly doesnt seem that great - am I missing something here?

That, and the 2nd and 3rd stacks of lifebloom being bugged to not take +healing into account.

Blizzard should have included item rack in the default UI for druids. I dont have as many sets as before, but when i was raiding at lvl 60 I had about 15 sets saved for various fights. I cannot imagine playing without itemrack.

i too love the ItemRack - with almost 60 pieces of gear, it's totally worth it to set up profiles for every combination you carry with you and just use the minimap button to swap em out. I've got a Cat, Tank, Tank-FR, Healing, Healing-FR and PVP set in mine.

I had Shred crit for like 1200+ at level 63 ... is this normal? It makes me giddy.

I had to say good-bye to my epic pvp shoulders last night. My last piece of "pre-crusades" gear sits mightily upon my head ... the epic pvp helm. It's so damn cool looking, I don't know when I'll give it up - a cenarian exp reward came close ... maybe if it gets more fancy jewels in its sockets it will prevail, but not yet.

I got the HH ring you buy with marks ... only to find Don Julios ring still slightly beats it ...

oh, and I'm at 28% crit.

oh, and I hate those Naga aggro bitches. One, no two ... ok two ... no wait, your helper slave assholes are helping now, ok. Oh, a sentry now ... brings a friend. I pull through it all but I'm still yelling "STOP GODDAMMIT!" as they keep adding on.

The ring with lots of stamina, a gem slot, and then nothing but some crit rating? I stuck with my seal and band of jin, though if I didn't have those, I'd probably still have stuck with green rings I found in Outland. Honestly, I don't need any more crit, I've got 29% and relative to my strength, it's too high.

I love item rack for a different reason. I put all my armor/weapon slots like an action bar, and when I get new equipment, I can scroll over each slot and it shows each equip that can go in that slot, easily comparable.

I'll use it for saving sets later when I actually get sets, too.

    Mmmmm. Epic flight form.

The quest had better not be a huge pain in the ass (warlock and paladin epic mounts) considering we've got to pay our five grand before we even get started.

It's not 5 grand, it's whatever the mount training is, you don't have to pay for the actual mount still. The Paladin/Warlock mounts are only 190g cheaper than training/mount after you buy the vendor only mats, before the arcanite and anything else. So, yes, it can be as much of a pain in the ass as they want it to be.

Tseric has stated that you can't get the Epic Flight Form quest unless you have paid for your epic flying mount training. It would be as if the Paladin/Warlock epic mount quests required you to pay the 540g for training before doing the quests.

Last I heard Blizzard recently changed it so you couldn't use another Warlocks items for the summoning ritual which does make it that expensive.

    not a lot

The only way you get a warlock mount really cheap is if every gathered mat is given/donated/gathered to/by you. So under regular circumstances, it isn't all that much cheaper than the 540g for the mount training. Plus if you dont have good friends/guildies, you're then looking for DM and Scholo pugging on top of that.

I ended up just buying the epic training when it went down to 540g

Anyhow, my druid is at 64, it feels good to be powerful for almost the first time it seems. With a new stun and nice damage gear, I took on a 67 mage (I think I was 63 at the time) ... mind you, it was me sneaking up on him, but that's because he tried to gank me out of no where. I followed him around for 20 minutes and took my revenge. I love when they iceblock, gives me a chance to heal to full. I feel a bit dirty that I had to moonfire spam him 3 times in the end because he blinked away, but not that dirty.

I was soloing a priest as well, but just as the killing blow was about to come, along came 2 horde and did me in.

This one time (62) this hunter kept marking me while we were questing in the same area. I don't cause drama in an area when I'm trying to do the same quest, he was just being an ass. Finally when I was done, I hid out and waited for the 8th mark to fade away. Since I was done with the area, I killed the hunter and took off to hand in my quest.

Last night I just got the honored healing mace from Cenarian Refuge.

Man, epic flight form could be seriously awesome, but I hope it looks really damn cool.

As it is, I love the way the epic gryphons look(hah, every single horde druid ever will choose any alternative to the epic wyvern). So then the choice comes down to an instant shift to flight form(presumably, and very nice) versus extra speed from crusader aura and riding crop etc(also very nice).
