New Xbox finally arrived. Nice to have 250GB and a drive that doesn't howl. Man, the original drive was loud.
I'm a little ticked that the bundled cables are composite only. WTF, Microsoft? I made fun of Sony so hard for doing that. Well, good thing my old XBox is going to someone that doesn't have hi-def.

They kept having Jagermeister promotions when I was at uni. I think it must have been launched in the UK around then? Or possibly relaunched. You'd get girls with test tubes of it handing them out in bars and clubs. I'm not sure I ever actually tried it though.

So back in the day I read the first five Harry Potter books (The fifth had just come out at the time). I enjoyed the first three, but after five I realized that while the story progressed in an interesting arc, the characters and their relationships didn't and I decided the whole thing just wasn't for me.
Well, I was bored the last couple days so I started watching the movies. They're actually pretty good. Not amazing or anything, but I'm enjoying them more than I did the books.
So I have decided that the people I work with are completely incapable of completing the simplest tasks while I am away.
Thus I have petitioned my boss to just let me do all the work. All the work you say? Yes, all the work. Reason being, it's easier for me to just do it all myself than to go back behind them and correct all the mistakes they make.
So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.

They are pretty great all the same. One of those things that sounds like it should be disgusting, but usually most people like it. Salt + fat + meat = good with beer

Hmm, I find it unlikely that pork scratchings are not a thing in parts of the US at least. They are a thing in pretty much the rest of the English speaking and Pork eating world
Cracklings are a big thing in the south. Well made ones are delicious. Especially if you go to a local fair or something and they fry em up fresh.
