Watch Ron handily dispatch his competing debate opponents. Have fun being with fellow freedom people like you. Smokin' Betty's will have the debate on their downstairs large screen TV for us. There is no cover charge. You will not be required to buy anything, but their food and drinks are great! So come hungry and thirsty. There may also be a half hour of pre-debate commentary by talking heads. Of course, they will have to tell us who "won" afterwards.

I listened to that demo of the song I was complaining about on monday for the first time in like 48 hours (always good to listen to something with a fresh pair of ears)
definitely more confident and optimistic about then I had been previously.

I really dug it. Can totally see the roots for the storytelling style in Memento.
Also IIRC, it was shot on 16mm.
that's the one. i hadn't realized it was such an early work of his. i had assumed the film quality was an artistic choice, but i guess it was actually probably a budgetary choice.
