DNA actually did pen a couple of Who episodes so if he were still around he probably would pen a new Who for Moffat
Goddamn I'm so pissed he died when he did. He was an ardent tech supporter and lover of Macs, and he would have been thrilled to see them graduate into the shiny white things they are today. Also, Doctor Who. Also he was just generally awesom\e

Quoth I think you and me are long lost twins or something!
I always honestly thought his Dirk Gently books (all two of them ) were better than the hitchhiker's guide. Dirk is such a wonderful(ly stupid) character, and I am a stupid whore for norse mythos
Also they stuck a pointless happy ending at the end there that not only goes against the tone of the story, but gets in the way of book 4's story.
And so does the stupid shoehorned-in Arthur/Trillian what the fuck love plot. Just because we have a leading man and a leading woman doesn't mean they need to end up together, Hollywood. FUCK.

Unless you don't care about whether Arthur fucks or not in which case you could skip to the end where you'll be happy to see Marvin's return.
