Being the new kid is hard, being the new kid in a school full of aliens is harder. Tycho mentioned that this one could be the biggest thing we ever do and I think he’s right. My fantasy is to see Dreamworks, Disney or Nickelodeon make an animated feature or a Saturday morning cartoon out of this one. Who knows maybe they will see it and give me a call!
I’m working on the third and final idea today. This last one will go up on Monday and then it will be time to vote. I hope you guys are having as much fun reading these as I am drawing them.

Welp, I guess someone took Gabe up on that. Maybe it's why they haven't done Sand yet?
I think they should get blind ferret to do an automata series

Holy shit. That was unexpected.
I'm fascinated to see if this makes it through the internecine Hollywood studio system all the way to the big screen. It could easily fall into production hell.
Still, it's by far the biggest and most exciting PA announcement I've ever seen. PAX and Child's Play grew into behemoths over the course of years; this hits the ground running out of nowhere. Major Kudos (Khoo-dos?) to Gabe and Tycho, Gary Whitta, et al.
I also wonder what it might mean for this little community we have here. I'm not adverse to change, but this isn't exactly the most family-friendly part of the internet. You can do worse - way worse - but I'd hardly give the regular comic or these boards a G rating. Ah well, years away from such worries, probably.
still haven't gotten around to seeing rango but I've heard good things
It has exactly the same plot as The Road To El Dorado. And far too many movie references for its own good. Otherwise, the soundtrack is amazing and it's really genuinely hilarious. And has amazing visuals.

Haha, what? No it doesn't. They both rely on a similar plot device (the hero convincing a village they are something they aren't), but the overall plots are completely different.

G&T toss down their books and leave as Khoo walks in the room.
