That brown cat in the first post is actually incredibly unusual for cats. It is almost certainly the bastard child of a pure-bred or has one as a grandparent. Someones Havana Brown, chestnut Oriental Shorthair or Burmese snuck out and shagged some lady cat.
The cats were much more friendly this weekend! They now actually come up to me for pets (no picking up or cuddles, those are not permitted yet)
It was also very, very hot in our apartment, so for the large part of each day they were sprawled out on the floor of the closet, not a care in the world.

Yeah, Milkdud. I'd love to see what he looks like when he grows up. Especially if he ends up longish haired, because that is crazy rare

This is Sanji D. Purrington, a.k.a. Derpy Paws, a.k.a. Kawaii Sanji Neko-kun, a.k.a. Mr. Purrington. We met him at my grandparents farm when he was the only little farm kitten to come up and cuddle and purr with us. Before we left for home I talked my aunt into fattening him up for us and having him fixed. He's been living with us for about four months now and is a very cuddly kitty. I'll have to get a picture of him grooming me. For some reason he likes licking my fingers and toes. Fingers while he sits on top of my tower, and toes while he lays near my feet under the desk.
Him looking smug as hell.
His right eye has a huge cataract on it from the eye infection he had when we met him. The vet confirmed that even if it was removed he doesn't have any sight in that eye.
