Yeah Wizard is probably my favorite for the beta.
A level 10-ish character will be able to kill pretty much anything in the A1 Cathedral in one or two hits, except for Unburied and some of the enchanted monsters.
Wizard can quickly frost-nova/wave of force and AoE 6-10 regular monsters in under a second, and then use arcane orb and disintegrate to finish off the rest quickly. By the time you hit a new mob your AoE spells are ready to go again. You can effectively run around solo to stack up that additional sw33tl00t.

Nah, that'll just end with the steam thread becoming the general games thread and getting locked. It's not a huge deal or anything.

if you mean cash monies, they haven't enabled that AH yet
why would they in a beta?
and even the normal AH was enabled just to test functionality but I can't imagine there's much interest in trading stuff considering how limited the beta is

I think if I went and got a good weapon, spectral blades would be good. It just sucks with a 3 DPS wand. It does mini-AoE so that's neat.
