I got me a new apartment

And I am currently packing and it's a chore but it's the last of the packing because I move in tomorrow

But I get to move in with my friend which is cool after living in townhouse with my cousin

But it's Canada and it's snowing and will probably be snowing tomorrow and moving in snow is gross

Talk about moving or giving me tips on good ways to unpack or pack or how to decide what I should just throw out or just talk about boxes here

Good luck moving - it's a chore! I am definitely going to be hiring professionals.

Pack - use clothes around delicate objects, that way the boxes aren't too heavy and you don't have to use much bubble wrap.

How far are you moving?

Put cardboard around the corners of your furniture/photo frames.

Unpacking - get everything clean FIRST, even if the place is already clean it might've grown dusty in the meantime. Then unpack.

in fact call for internet in advance if you can

get it set up as quickly as possible

Also moving sucks and any future moves I make will have me hiring pro movers because I have decided to never help anyone else move ever, so I expect the same.

The key to any move is to throw out stuff while you're packing and then when you're unpacking throw away more stuff you didn't realize was useless before the move.

Also have less stuff in general.

Each time I've moved I've had more things.

Pennsylvania -> Atlanta = 2 suitcases and maybe 2 shipped boxes down
Stale's Apt -> Hellish Roommate Apt = one load up of Annie's car
Hellish Roommate -> Current Apt = multiple load ups of Annie's car

When we have to move from here.. I've accumulated so much more furniture and it's going to be super annoying
