Things were getting better by the day for the deathmatch organization. Though they had suffered massive setbacks, they were not yet out of it. As long as they still had people available to run the weekly fights and investigate the infiltrators among them, they still had a chance to rebuild the league back to its former glory. And this week, they'd captured yet another undercover agent, Capfalcon. At this rate, the season could end on a high note free from the influences of the law - they would be able to return to the shadows and rebuild themselves to their former strength.
However, it was still too early to celebrate. Gaslight had been taken down by an assassin, and Shabooty was put under arrest. The organization was still losing people each week, and it wasn't going to stop until all of the infiltrators were ejected from the group or the group was completely dissolved. The war between the deathmatch league and the law was still at its peak pace, and a victor would soon rise from the conflict.
Match 1: Brunch Heartthrob put the moves on Flogging Molly, stealing her heart away. Match 2: Neither Maximum Power nor Señor Finance could leverage enough to deal a finishing blow on the other, and their bout was declared a draw after the fighters poured all their energy into the ring.
Today's Bouts
Match 1: Pterodactyl Man vs. Clyde "Ghostface Thrillah" Magilla Match 2: The Cold Shoulder vs. Pete "The Wall" Johnson
Standard close time for Day 11 is Friday, March 9, 9PM PST / Saturday, March 10, 12AM EST / 5AM UTC
So thanks for the extra money last night, anonymous donor! If you'd like to take credit for your generosity feel free to PM me, but be sure to indicate how much you sent so I know it's really you.
I don't know which annoys me more - that langly felt obligated to finish that joke, or that sportzboy came back from the dead just to set him up for it.
Comparing both their vote records. Flarne's and Shen's. Shen seems to be drawing unnecessary attention to falcon in earlier votes, whereas a lot of Flarne's votes are one offs. Though the falcon votes never went anywhere, doing it repeatedly seems like a somewhat dangerous tactic.
I'm definitely village, shalmelo has the details that I sent to him and Virgil. I clocked Capfalcon early (and blew $2982 trying to assassinate him on March 3), never jumped on any strange bandwagons, sent shalmelo $1000 (of which he should have received $800) last night because I came in late and was unable to ask who would be a good choice to bet on (and I've done so again today, which is a dumb move).
At any rate, this has been a fun learning experience! Note to self: do not get passive once a village head/mouthpiece is elected, also grudge the fuck out of everyone who's voted for me :P
My vote is for Cayrus. Gaslight's seemed pretty sure about it, and as he was the player who contacted me first I would like to honour his memory, haha.

I said from the start that Capfalcon was shifty, glad someone was finally able to spy him out.

Shen, you've had a nice long run for your first phalla and I hope you've had fun, but I'm going to have to ask for your gun and your badge.
And yeah, I'm suffering from ME3 syndrome as well at the moment.
