The gas company shut off the gas in my house because my landlord hasn't paid the bill in what looks like a very long time. I am really really really fucking pissed off to the point of physically shaking.
I'm gonna have to take a shower at the office gym tomorrow morning and look for a hotel to stay in for what looks like at least this weekend.
I have recently learned that the landlord I pay money to does not actually own the place. He rents it. I do not have the contact information for the actual owner of the house.
yeah, uh, you need to be proactive and not get into a situation like that
If you aren't signing a lease -- even if you know them -- IT WILL BE A PROBLEM.

Or like when someone does a promo like free slurpee day or KFC did their free chicken dinner thing, and people in some places were waiting in huge lines for 20 minutes or more just to get a fucking chicken dinner that would have cost them a whopping $6 any other day. And then they go into a rage if the place runs out of food and they don't get their measly freebie.
some shitty chain diner-- i forget which one, it wasn't friendly's, i know that much, did some free breakfast thing a few years back
and it was comical, disgustingly huge thing
goddamned swarms of... beings? at these places
it was all over the news and the rags, i guess just because man what the hell is gong on here
and the food is not good, hell it isn't even good hangover breakfast
ps
good luck mori

Hooray I got a completely avoidable ticket for being a fucking moron
it will take 14 hours of work to pay it off, assuming I actually get some hours at work this week, which I can't say for sure will happen because I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody at all
Meanwhile, anybody on the eastside of Seattle need a roommate? Preferably near Bellevue?
I'm in a tiny studio on the Pike/Pine corridor in Seattle proper. All I can offer is floor space for a night or two if you're looking at sleeping on the street.

Also that sucks a lot, is there anything in your rent agreement that'll make your landlord compensate you in some way?

not knowing you're being sublet to is messed up on the part of the guy renting to you
landlords are fucked
obviously your landlord is deeply suspicious even by landlord standards
it seems like you're going have to move, huh
Well
The pain was dulled enough so that I could sleep, at least
Yeah. I really hope I can find a place close by because I don't have a car.

when I talked to him on the phone, he was all
"Well, plenty of other people are going to die. You can go to those."

It's 6am and I'm just now starting to feel tired.
It is a surefire pick-me-up for when I'm feeling the blues.
"fun"
My leg is cramping from nerves, drove on the road for the first time in like 2 years.
Why'd you quit driving?

So I never got my license.
Didn't drive until I was 23
You get over it.
