We made the best turkey last Thanksgiving. The best. We made a little slice in the skin, stuck our hands in and rubbed an herb/butter paste all over the turkey between the skin and the meat.

    It was amazing.

Ugh. "No, we don't think scalpers gobbled them up. We just took a look and the average order size had 1.74 badges per order (the limit is 5)" THAT'S NOT HOW STATISTICS WORKS.

    look at this

Space 4X game that seems clean and accessible and well-made and it's just in alpha.

I am intrigued, even though SotS2 bit super hard.

Good good good. We did Atlantis today. I swear to God that place was designed as a compromise between an adult resort and disneyworld.

The water park was nice, but dumb expensive. It cost 4.5 PAX three day passes between the two of us. There were no lines though, so that was pretty sweet.

Staying in the shade tomorrow. The sun has not been kind to my pale white ass.
Wait, you're still on your honeymoon, and posting here?

Given what I know about scalping, you typically don't see the online stuff turn up until just a bit before the actual event takes place. It's a price control strategy.

Things like that ebay listing give economists nightmares.

$350 for a 3 day pass when a pass for every day totals $105. DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

I also suspect that scalpers aren't going to get the ROI that they expect.

Or you win, but it turns out that you can't handle the shift in lifestyle, and all that money brings you no joy and you wish you could go back to the way things were before.

You assume many scalpers wish to attend the events they sell tickets to. As someone who's done some scalping (and knows more than a few scalpers), such is often not the case.

I feel kind of awkward about having gotten a PAX pass when they were still having difficulties, since I don't get nearly as much out of PAX as some people. But I probably saved the ticket from some jackass scalper.
