I've lost count of how many WC3 maps, mods, and half-games use day z or something similar as their name.

I perfectly fine with zombie survival mods or whatever, but god do they need to start coming up with better names for them.

I love how the first one ends with all shit going wrong and the second vid is all them trying to regroup, calling out to other survivors on other rooftops. Seriously, it's so amazing to me that just a simple premise of survival can make one of the coolest fucking things ever.

The CHKillroy video series makes me want to play this, even though the game looks all kinds of rough around the edges. Somehow, putting it in the Russian countryside makes it more-acceptable.

The part of that one video where Kilroy and his buddy see the other two survivors going in to loot the town as they're leaving it and they try not to draw attention to themselves and disappear into the woods was my favorite moment.

So is the tension when he finds out that the other group they split from has started killing other survivors for food and weapons. It's chilling!

Sadly I won't be spending any more money on games right now until I can afford Diablo III.
