Confusing indeed. Maybe that will make it easier to rank well, perhaps you can get sub3k again. Looks like cw is rising in value because the good monsters take some work to flush out. You prolly just doublef on that cw investment, good call. They might realse packs with cw soon tho so watchout. Wonder if the price will continue to rise.
I had to buy ff Thor when I saw him for 190. He's still a beast even if kitsune is better. Hopeing I can pickup kitsunes for 75 ish when her event utility expires.
Anyone know how the monster hunter skills work exactly? Does it multiply the groups attack that it based in, or just the individual card? I'm basically wondering if there is any strategy in deck configuration, or if you just throw your top three skill cards into the group leader positions and then your best attack cards anywhere else.

I'll use it as soon as I create a mobage account.

Indeed. My CW is selling off nicely now and I'd expect to buy it back at half price next week when people realise that HP is the more important resource still...
In bad news (for me), my Arjuna is now selling for 250HP when I bought it for nearer 300HP as an investment. However, it's relative value will rise over time as the initial card release dwindles (especially at this price) and people see the value in it being the 2nd best man card after Lord Arthur. I still might lose out though as the general market slide means that keeping HP would have been the better decision for sure.
I chose demon. I don't know anything about color or realm yet. Still just clicking menus to see what I can do.
At the start, just go through quests and gain levels. Bumping up your stamina is usually a good idea as this will let you level faster. Don't use either holy powder or cure waters, these are your currencies for trading, and they become more worthwhile as your stamina and attack increase.
Also, does anyone here play the Marvel comics equivalent of this game? Marvel War Heroes?
The short answer is, fill up your fellows list with active people. If you notice people's activity wain in the game you can un-fellow them and replace them BE CAREFUL THOUGH. If you unfellow more than once a day you can lose stat points PERMANENTLY. Unfellowing removes five stat points from your highest stat (or if your stats are tied or near tied five total), though you get these back after fellowing a new person. Effectively allowing you to respec your points. However, after the first one you will lose six, and only regain five, meaning one permanent loss. Not sure if it gets more punitive or not, but stats are harder to get later on so even one point is bad enough.
Friendship points simply get you free friendship card packs (200 points/1 Card). Mostly these are junk cards, Normals and High Normals, though occasionally (1/1000 maybe?) you can get a rare. Not sure if you can get High Rares, thought I heard someone say they got one but I haven't personally in any event. Friendship points generally are pretty easy to get, you can message fellows, send responses on successful bazaar deals, are ofter in daily sign in bonuses, and can be found as event prizes. Its one of the few ways to gain cards outside of stamina.
I've played Marvel some, I recall it being incredibly similar to RoB but with Marvel instead of fantasy stuff. Mobage has a LOT of RoB spin-off types of games.
edit:Oh also forgot to mention. Fellows (and guild mates) are the only people you can trade with, and even then you have to be fellows for awhile, at least a week, not sure if they've changed it. Outside of trading you'll have to go through the Bazaar which is this games auction house. Of which you only get five tickets a day, which amounts to 1-5 different sales or purchases a day (depending on rarity of cards, the rarer the more restrictive). Not something you'll be using a lot at the start, but later a good way of trading away unwanted cards, or searching for that last card to fully evolve your Dragon or whatever. It might not be a bad idea to fellow a few PAers, many of whom, myself included, would be glad to toss you a few cards to get started. Personally I'd recommend the Dragon HN card, its a very good demon attack card. I had it in my attack deck till I was in my 70s. Although, you might be able to buy a full on rare card pretty cheaply that will put it to shame now.
I'm quite torn whether to stick with my current Order (nice bunch, ranked 200 last HW) or move to a less competitive Order as, in all honesty, I deplore blowing 200+HP per HW just to get less than 50HP worth of rewards and I don't want to let the side down by clearly stashing my HP. The other side of the coin is "why play it if you're not going to compete?" which is fair enough, but I still enjoy the trading side of the game more than the events even if Cygames keeps trying to make it harder to profit.
I'm kind of at the same point on the lower end of the spectrum. I would have to dump a lot of HP every event either for whatever event cards are required to place highly or just to place highly at all, HP that I can't really spare since I never put any money into the game. I have a nice HR deck but all that really seems to matter any more is just how much HP/CW you dump into an event, making the deck building part of the game less satisfying. I sat this event out, debating if I'm interested in coming back.
I've actually been starting to feel the same way. They've trivialized decks in events to the point of activity/item use that I'm losing motivation to improve my deck. The only reason I improve my deck now is to crush people in regular daily battles.
The first thing I do when I wake up is no longer to check Rage, it's to check out my Ingress notifications.

You can go to Edit Deck in the menu. This will initially show you your attack deck but there will be a button labelled Def Deck to switch you over. Honestly though, I'd say just let them, rubies aren't really all that critical, especially early on. More importantly, you'd need to devote stat points to defense which would be better used on Stamina or Attack. Defense is the least utilized stat in the game, only useful for Battle Rankings and certain events which have special treasure items, and the last one of those events we actually had was what, Halloween?
Re:This event
This event seems kind of broken. The Helvera rare boss is fairly worthless since she only gives blue crystals. So far the only rewards I've gotten from turning in the blues has been a few HN skill cards a couple N cards and heap ton of sylvan berries. I'm hoping silver rewards actually give worthwhile cards that are being teased, however I haven't even seen a Jabberwockey and I'm up into the 80s quest. Also, pretty much nobody is sharing. This all might change later when the real boss shows up.
That said, it seems the AP system for this event would go a long way to making quality decks worthwhile. Being able to use your 10 best cards six times for one HP regardless of cost seems like a good idea. They even manage to keep Attack useful. Its the stupid gating mechanism for getting worthwhile monsters to attack, or at least the rarity of the monsters appearing. I've found about once a day I can usually get the three different normal monster types to open the gates, and then I usually get one, sometimes two of the Helveras to attack. If its just one I can kill her myself with out using any berries or HP. The thing that confuses me is half of the ones I share end up not getting finished off, making me want to be rather selfish.
Time spent on reading (almost done with book 3 of Game of Thrones), Youtubing (currently entranced with K-pop & Mike Diva), shooting (buy an AK-47 if you can: blows RoB away), and LoL (just a couple games away from lvl 30!) is all far more rewarding. It's amazing how much time one has when they are not trying to FF or skill up some stupid digitized card that will be devalued within a month.
I have to imagine that lots of other players are getting fed up with this game too but I wonder if the Android and Iphone markets are just so big that mobage can strategize to to keep attacting new players to replace the jaded ones like us. New players likely spend the most money on the game... seems like with the frequent and long events and the obvious devaluing of cards that Mobage is really after new/transient players instead of keeping the "middle class" happy.
@Bluecyan what rank are you pulling in this event? Sounds like you have been the most active of us, good luck in doing well and thank you for your synopsis of the event. I sent all of my best cards to my pure-stamina account because ATK is no longer limiting the type of event deck I use. This way I can rassle up more monsters per CW and an HP is going to give 6 attacks no matter what. The only thing I miss out on is the 1.2 dmg bonus which is sort of a joke, imo.
@ninjurai The only downside I see to your better deck being on a Stamina based account is the 6 AP attack option which gives 8.8 times attack. My initial thought was this was going to eventually turn out to be just like the other monster events where the Take Down a Monster list would basically be permenatly at five high HP monsters shared by a bunch of people, so HP would once again trump CP. It still might, but I haven't noticed an increase in monster levels, I'm still mostly getting level 5 walking dead.

I still enjoy hopping into the big fights and doing some pitiful damage, but still getting rewarded for helping.
Edit: He got away. I guess not selecting "Call All" was a mistake.
