    I don't know the fine details, but some boat they were on, was boarded by pirates. They started taking peoples shit, and started randomly stabbing/shooting people.
    Two of those people were her mum and dad.
    I'm not sure how old she was when it happened though.

    Running wild is a good Band. Thier Pirate Song is quite good as is thier Fall of Dokas and Land of Ice. I have't heard much about them, but they are good.

    And that's all I can come up with right now, I'm tired.

    Also, anyone ever read Under the Black Flag? Awesome book on real piracy, mateys. Apparently, a big problem with hanging pirates was that they'd go through all the repentance speeches, last words, blubbering, praying to God, acceptance of death, etc; and then when they put the noose on, the rope would break and they'd be hauled up to be hung again. Just Try and Try again.

    I always found that morbidly funny.
