I know it's supposed to be; but the fact you can't be absolutely immediately certain just by looking allows me to imagine the possibility that this is just some entirely random person accosting Jerry at the booth about his/her cosplay, and Jerry is being a dick to him/her in response, and that vision of the comic is much funnier to me.
