Good game, Doc! I don't know what was up with your Elf Zombies, that was just downright bizarre.

I forgot how downright mean this game is.

Taking a year break, then playing a fresh team when what little you remember is from a 1790 TV. Yeah, the matches didn't go well. On the upside, I have the best zombies. Ever.

Those games were fun to watch. 1 reroll vs 1 reroll, skull battle GO

So, I see a running lane in Game 1 if I just surf the werewolf that will let me get back into it with a fighting chance. All I have to do is get the ball into the hands of my own wolf or a ghoul.

    Nope!

Not only did that zombie catch the ball, he also dodged and made a successful pass to a ghoul (who couldn't catch it).

    He is my favourite zombie.

Turn 2, double skull on third move. To re-roll or not to re-roll, a question for the ages.

These sound suspiciously like Hummies. Are they hummies?

It's pretty easy to play at work, if you have a work load that will allow it. If you constantly or randomly get caught up in things that take more than 5 minutes of undivided concentration, then this really wont work unless you don't mind missing a turn or two while your attention is elsewhere.

Edit: Also, if anyone is up and wants to play just send me a steam message or join the blood bowl group's chat room with me

Yea I have a workload that will allow it, and even a work that won't mind. It's really the whole may get caught up in something that will take my attention away from the game for too long and miss turns. Might give it a go over the next couple of days.

despite explosives riddling the first half, the Average Joes rally together under the stellar leadership of Average Joe and come out on top!

thanks again to @JustPlainEvil for not utterly cutting all my dudes's heads off

You can thank Stabbins, he was very merciful this game around. No worries though, I've given him a stern talking to and let him know if he can't reach the head, cutting off a leg is just as effective!

It's too bad you can't set the turn limit to unlimited or really high. Wouldn't work in the public leagues of course but I wouldn't really mind a slow game. Then again a 4 min game (I'm way too slow to play lower) can take quite a while to get through as it is.

I think in a private league you can set it to unlimited time on the turns. We discussed it at the start of one of the leagues because I htink my son was about 6 months old then and I was worried I would need to jump up to sort him out and miss turns. The majority still voted for a 4 minute turn though because yes, the turns and games really drag out enough as it is. As it happened it was only ever a problem once I think, and you can usually manage it by asking the other player to try and drag out their turn (providing they don't roll double skulls or something!).

If you know you have to step away and your opponent doesn't mind, just press ESC. As long as they don't press resume game it'll stay there for quite a while.

Certainly doable. My underworld team just got smashed by @Rossel's dark elves, 3-0. Dead blitzer on the 2nd turn didn't help, but that was the only lingering injury.

Thanks for the game @JustPlainEvil. I thought I had terrible luck in my first game, but you took the cake there. I ended up winning 4-0, with the only lingering injury a goblin who suffered -1 agil. Of course he was the guy who got MVP and had scored a touchdown.

Edit: I'll also be in the PA Blood Bowl Steam Chat room, let me know on there as I am likely to be working on something else and might not see a challange invitation in BB
