The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I don't know if this thread is best place to post this, but Hans Zimmer, the guy who did the soundtrack to DKR, released a song with all the proceeds going to the victims of the Aurora shooting.

Three Ghosts of Batman: Bat-Cop, Bat-Bane, and Bat-Devil. They were some secret experiment Dr. Hurt did with Batman and three GCPD guys to have back-up Batmen in case something ever happened to the real one, and then Batman was hypnotized or whatever to forget the whole thing ever happened until he started having to fight the dudes.
Pretty sure Bat-Bane is dead now, and Bat-Devil is the new Azrael. Can't remember what happened to Bat-Cop.

Read those issues, or at least the first part. IIRC Bat-cop died.
If, and let's be honest here, when they reboot it. I hope they go with a somewhat lighter tone. I'm not saying Batman and Robin, or Adam West camp, but something that isn't as bleak as the Nolan movies. I loved the Nolan movies, but I don't know if I could take more of their almost unrelentingly grim atmosphere.
Also, if they make it lighter in tone, they could have some of Batman's "wackier" villains. I'd love to see a good version of Mister Freeze, or Poison Ivy on the big screen.

ok guys, super important question about the movie:
how did bane keep his head so perfectly, cleanly shaved (including his beard I think) if he couldn't take off the mask?
I'm guessing he needed the mask for when he needed to be up and about, but for mundane things he could hook himself up to something else while he attended to hygiene.

there was a whole bunch of stuff going on
like it felt like this was Batman: The Wire
and the ending montage, with appropriate music added, felt the same way
particularly the idea that hardy's character is going to become the new batman, that the cycle will perpetuate itself in some way
gotta see it again though because i know i missed shit getting caught up in the spectacle
[still haven't seen this movie]
[but I'm gonna]
really really like it.

Lady Gaga does herself a disservice at the end there.
She is much scarier than Batman.

Okay, that would have been different. It was JGL's character, I'm pretty sure.
