I don't ever eat fast food. Or packaged cookies or really any sort of packaged snacks. Or cakes. Or those crappy sweet baked goods you find in gas stations. Or potato chips, or really any kind of chips or chip-like things. Or crackers. Or gum.

If only I didn't love so many other delicious things.

Does drinking a massive amount of tea count as drinking lots of water?

I also try to do some light push-ups/weights every day.

Walk any commute less than 5k (work, groceries, night life). Never use escalators (if possible, if not, walk up them) or elevators (up to 5 floors).
Drag my ass up mountains on a regular basis.
Avoid sweets, deserts, and sugary drinks to balance out all the beer.

Edit: The avoidance sugary drinks seems to be a trend on here, good on all of us.

How do you guys feel about vitamins/supplements? The only ones I take regularly are fish-oil since we eat pretty healthily anyway.

We did a survey on heart health at work a couple of weeks ago and I'm pretty much category A1 ++ for a heart attack. Like, intellectually I know I have to do something about it but I don't really want to do anything about it. It's a pretty fucking stupid way to be so maybe I'll just go for a walk or something tonight
Well are we a show off.

Go for a run with amy then, she runs most nights.

    Thanks much!

A few people at work have been doing a 10 day cleanse which involves consuming nothing except water and a mixture of lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and honey, with saltwater flushes every 3 days. On average, the guys, all of whom are average BMI, have lost about 8-10 pounds (I haven't asked the girls, 'cause I'm old-fashioned about that stuff), which does not seem healthy for such a short period.

A cameraman neighbour of mine says that weekly colonics seem to be common among many male actors he works with (flat abs, apparently), which also doesn't seem healthy.

They take the saltwater orally, to induce some serious bowel movement. (Edit: for the cleanse, not the colonic)

sometimes I pluck my underwear from my ass-crack and then sniff the tip of my index finger and thumb but I don't think that counts as a healthy habit

I really wanna start jogging every morning, except I'm a lazy plughole. Though, there was this one time I was walking around the huge field of my campus at around four in the morning, but that doesn't count since I had a full jacket get-up going on and I was also going to town on this monster-sized slurpee.

I just got a boat. So maybe now i'll start spending some money on a hobby that isn't drinking every day.
I've also been teaching myself to make good breakfasts and TRYING to eat healthier. Now excuse me, it's 3 am and I need a bowl of cereal

3am food should be chili with sriracha. Mmmm. I have an unhealthy addiction to sriracha.

I just switched from cigs to a vaporizer since apparently I don't have the willpower to give up smoking cold turkey. So far seems to be a decent nicotine delivery method.

Also, i want to get back into exercising regularly. But I kinda suck at it. I refuse to go to a gym since there's people there so I end up just doing weights at home (not really weightlifting as such, I have a couple of 5kg weights that I do around a 100 bicep curls with) and maybe some situps if I'm feeling particularly frisky. I should really look at some kind of proper exercise routine.

Yeah... they're a bit weird at first, because they fill the nicotine craving but you don't get the rest of the crap you get from smoking a cig. So your brain is sometimes still craving a cig. Once you get over that and accept that you're getting the hit from a vaporizer they're really good. I'm currently figuring out if you can combine caffeine liquid and nicotine liquid in the same vaporizer...

    .

Trust me when I say just give it up if you really want to quit. It will be much better for you in the end. You say you don't have the willpower but that isn't something you gain or lose. And the craving will surface, even years later so it's bet to learn to deal with it now and get it over with.

Ive fought some shitty addictions and bad life choices in my day, only your choice makes it happen. Good luck!
