when people agree/awesome my posts it is a real boost to my self esteem
at dinner I tell my mother about all the 'awesomes' I get, but she still hates me

tell your mom I said she's a wonderful person and she did a great job having a kid like franko
Portland is like stupid expensive now though, isn't it?
I'm pretty sure that's not actually a sentence but whatever
We've started looking at places near where Jess would be working if we do move, and looks like rent is a little lower than in Seattle but I'm sure that varies by neighborhood.
Honestly I bet Portland is still more affordable than the goddamn bay area god damn shit fuck
i pay $1125 for a three bedroom house with trash and water included across the street from a park, around the corner from a rail station, and one house over from a bike path

here I was hoping she finally dumped your old ass and I could swoop in
and I am looking down the barrel of moving to Brooklyn or Queens in a few months
the only places I've ever paid for rent are San Francisco, Paris, and New York
so more typical rents sound bonkers cheap to me
to be fair you could pay nearly that much for a studio if you go in the heart of downtown's trendier districts, but i'm not, so i pay less for housing
are you within walking distance of the city proper?
if so, I had no idea Portland was that cheap
no i'm nowhere near walking distance to downtown, but i'm right by a rail station that takes me there anyway so i don't mind, and i'm still well within the city proper

Ya look good!
We might seriously consider it after we save some money
I know a nice city you can move to
Looks like I lost count

I don't know. It's cheaper than bakersfield was.
And bakersfield is a shithole.
I dropped the ball, FAQ, I dropped the ball
well,
one more and you'll be a man
Maybe it's just very delayed
Your postcount is the number of posts currently in the database, not the total you've ever made
Mine would be waaay higher than it is
:winky:

And I'll still only have met one forumer
sounds like a nice place
also I'd like to try currywurst
that sounds good
also I want to try Doner
it is apparently "the new place" because of its enormous art scene, great partying, enormous influx of young people from all over, etc.
gotta check it out this spring

yes ma'am
it's basically a detached townhouse - no backyard, a little front lawn, no garage
no i'm nowhere near walking distance to downtown, but i'm right by a rail station that takes me there anyway so i don't mind, and i'm still well within the city proper
God. Damn. It.
I could easily see that place going for like $3000+ here
What the effff
