Didn't like my PS2. I only got one cause I put a joke bid on ebay for a new one and a huge bundle of accessories. Fucking won that thing and I was so pissed.
Zoe 1+2, katamari, the GTA games, MGS 2 and 3, so many damned games. PS2 was the first console we were able to get new when it still qualified as new, and I used it and bought new games for it for as long as they were coming out.
some of my favorite games ever are ps2 rpgs. The shadow hearts games, persona series and digital devil saga series, dark cloud 2, final fantasy 12, steambot chronicles, kingdom hearts, valkyrie profile 2, and on and on. god, i miss the days when i can spend like 60+ hours on a game with horrible, cheesy writing and grind away
i also have such a boner for srpgs, no matter the setting, and ps2 had some addictive ones. front mission 4, suikoden tactics, growlanser, disgaea, arc the lad: twilight of the spirits. still disappointed they kept releasing shining games as action rpgs instead of glorious srpgs.
and there was a game I was completely in love with that i feel never gets talk about, Trapt (ugh, yes, same as that shittynu-metal band). it was a spiritual sequel to the deception games on ps1, and was about building dungeons and killing stupid heroes and man, was it fun
