Had progress in my appalling personal life today - got a second opinion on my wife's illness from a new shrink, transferred to him, been taking some chill pills myself that have been helping.
Very optimistic about the new doc. Might be the shite we've been going through for the last 5 years has some kind of improvement coming.
Oh, and a little consultancy work on the go, so might not starve to death. Possibly.
I figure I could take a bear.

That depends on what you enjoy about the PoP games.
I personally enjoy how good the combat, jumping and puzzling was in TWW and TTT. PoP 2007 had much weaker combat (you had basically a identical series of attacks that you varied according to what defence your opponent used; you couldn't do anything flashy with your environment; apart from boss-fights - which were repetitive - you never fought more than 1-2 enemies at once, and never on a large intricate arena), its jumping was much more linear, and I don't recall there being any puzzles whatsoever.
So for me, I felt it was a step back from the two previous games. They also removed the time powers, which seeing as they were one of the best and most definitive things about the PoP trilogy, that worked really well, and set it apart from other Action/Adventure games, was a bizarre choice indeed.
so my discrete professor didn't return the tests today. in suspense. the lecture today was pretty interesting (on summation and inductive proofs). i am still tripped up on my insane dream. i am also hungry.
