Phallacratic National Convention
A stever777 ProductionCharlotte, NC
September 4-6, 2012
The Phallacrats are looking to have a bang-up convention this election season. They need it, especially after The Rephallacan's convention went so well. All the eyes of the country were on that convention, as most people got their first real look at Mitt Phalla. He put forth his platform of smaller Phallas, no new Phallas on the middle-class, and a strong defense of Phallas all across the world in the global war on spread-sheeters. Many liked what they heard.
So, The Phallacrats have their work cut out for them. President Barack OPhalla's first term has not brought the change that many were seeking when they voted in
bold dodgerblue for him four years ago. They were hoping he could bring real improvements to Phalla, real hope and a new sense of community. Instead, there is still the back-biting, nasty-commenting and meta-arguing going on that has plagued the nation for over a generation, now, with no end in sight. Many still believe Phallary Clinton would have been the better choice but they are holding their tongues and hoping the The President can rekindle the spark that first ignited the exciting "Hope and Change" main that he ran in 2008.
Others are not willing to wait. He's had his chance and must be replaced if the nation is to move in the right direction, the one they voted him in for in the first place. They need someone who will stand up to the special interest hosts and move Phalla forward, again. Powerful supporters of Phallary Clinton have gathered behind closed doors and in secret meeting rooms to discuss how best to accomplish this. It must be done and must be done now, here. This will be a convention to remember.
What’s all this then?
This is a mini Phalla for 30 players based on back-room dealings at The Democratic National Convention of 2012, with players taking roles of delegates.
General rules of Phalla can be found
here. New players are welcome, as are old, of course.
Standard Phalla Rules/Mechanics:
You must vote each day. Vote in
bold red for whomever you think is likely to be a threat to you. The winner of the vote will be eliminated every night. Tied votes will kill all tied players. Also, you may vote for the Convention Chairperson each day in
bold dodgerblue. That player's vote that day will count as three votes.
In addition, everyone should make at least one post each day. Failure to vote or contribute will lead to warning and replacement.
Vote close is 11:00 PM EDT. All votes and actions at 10:59 PM EDT and before will be counted, while any submitted on, or after, will not.
Do not directly quote anything from PMs with me, or take screenshots of them. It is okay to paraphrase role PMs, however.
Do not anonymously contact anyone.
When you die, you may make one ghost post which cannot contain any game information whatsoever. After that, please do not discuss the game with anyone still alive.
Ask for clarifications in
Bold DarkOrange. You can always PM me with clarification requests, or post them directly in the thread. If you have questions about your role, you should probably use the PM method to avoid giving away info to the other players.
Make sure you invite me to any proboards you might form, as well as any PMs. Do not add other players to PM conversations.
The default villager role:
You are...
A Phallacratic Delegate
Sure, the nation isn't as thrilled as they were four years ago but think of the alternative; shrinking mains and uber-hosts getting preferential treatment. President OPhalla must be re-nominated and re-elected. Of course, he will be, but you have to go through the formalities. What could possibly go wrong?
Win condition: Eliminate all threats to the re-nomination of The President.
Order of actions: Vote comes first, then other actions.

Are there thralls/millers/conversions?
No
Wait, are we voting in red too, or just for Chairperson?
Both, every day.
Does the winner of the blue vote's red vote count extra for the day they win or for the next day; is there anyone with increased vote today?
Winner of today's blue vote has a red vote of 3 for today.
Does the blue vote (or the red vote, for that matter) trickle?
No.
Could we possibly get different colors to withdraw each of our votes?
Use limegreen for the kill vote and mediumorchid for the chair vote, if you want.
What happens if the blue vote is tied?
RNG
Can I join the mafia?
No.
Does the blue vote occur before the red vote?
Yes.
Attention.
After a re-count done by a company in FL, it was determined that MrT & SLyM tied and therefore both legitimately were removed.
THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE.
All is well.
Carry on!
