I am making a Party Mix for a friend, and need help finding happy, fun songs. This is partly due to me not having the largest knowlage of music, and partly due to me listing to alot of doombringers such as radiohead, coldplay, the vurve and others. Ok, so this is what I got so far.

Less Than Jake - Metalheads
Mark Ronson - Just
Falco - Rock Me Amadeus
The Avalanches - Frontier Psychatrist
Echo And The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
The Cure - Just Like Heaven
Pulp - Common People
Boney M - Rasputin
Sugar Hill Gang - Rappers Delight

Ok, come on, and hit me with your best stuff.

See, I've been listenin' to a lot of country lately. But it's always good to switch over to some other kind of music.

I'm just trying to find a particular song that might do it.

You also can't lose with disco. Don't listen to any other neegs up in here, disco is scientifically formulated to be the best music for dancing.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life - Indeep
ANYTHING by Earth Wind and Fire (that's not the name of the song... fine I'll give you some hits: September, Fantasy, Boogie Wonderland)
Ladies Night - Kool and the Gang
A Night to Remember - Shalamar
Brickhouse - The Commodores (more funk, but it's all a groove that cats can dig)

The ultimate collision of genres! I Was Made For Loving You - KISS is also disco-rock, if more old school.

EDIT: I will also point out at this stage that I am against the whole idea of mix CDs, even if you own all the orginal songs to begin with. Royalties, man, solid gold Lamborgini's don't fill their own petrol tanks with champange.

    the faint - glass danse
the go! team - huddle formation
the rapture - get myself into it
spoon - i turn my camera on
    beck - sexx laws
