my copy of Spook Country arrived in the mail today, and the paperback edition has a giant picture of Gibson's wrinkly face on the back of it
like, huge. it takes up nearly the entirety of the back cover, and this is a big C Format paperback

This so much, the steam trailer had me think man this could be really fun
But then it turns out to be an incredibly tedious source mod game and I just could not be bothered to figure it out
also, the other day I watched THX 1138 by George Lucas (of star wars fame)
That movie was incredibly weird and not (in my opinion) particularly good. It had some neat things in it though, and the pacing and occasionaly ambiguity reminded me a whole hell of a lot of bladerunner
Although neither are really cyberpunk to any real degree.
