Oh god, if only I had graduated high school in 2000.
The things I would do.
The adventures I could still have.
That is exactly the year I graduated.
Woo.
(meekly, as though old and dying) Take...take this porn collection featuring Christy Canyon and this unmitigated sense of self-righteousness. They...they will be yours when I leave this world. Our legacy must live on... *cough* *hack*
Yes, if there's anything I'm lacking, it's unmitigated self-righteousness.
Bahahahahahahahahahaha

I am 12 years old
maybe i'm streaming terrible dj right now if i am its here
Another strength workout, and I was not destroyed by it! A gratifying development, as the last one really wrecked me. However I'm already seeing some benefit from the exercise, 4 sessions into it.
One drill, the 'plank to push-up' was very very difficult for me though, because my form was awful and I had to do about 35 reps to get fifteen good ones.
Woah, I just started SC2 after patching it. This is the first time I've run the game since somebody gave me a GTX 260, which is better than my old 8800GT but not that great or anything. The game says I can run it on Extreme!!
ASMR is that thing where your entire body tingling and almost shaking yeah?
I get that quite a lot, not always in a good way. Movies, books, music, certain people etc all give me that. Also cars driving past right behind me give me that quite often but more in an unpleasant way.
i always pick blue, green is retarded and im not willing to kill the geth and edi
In my interpretation of "red"
the geth and EDI do not die. That was only ever a scare tactic to try and force the moral Shepard to select a Reaper option.
In fact, from an entirely meta-gamey stance, the fact that EDI and the Geth die in the canon red interpretation was only done because the asshat who wrote it wanted to ensure there was no completely good ending.
What's funny is he actually considers the green ending to be the good ending
Like, doesn't see anything morally wrong with forcing that on the universe. It's why it requires the most war assets to have access to
But if the concept of yin + yang / chaos + order is pretty heavily pumped throughout ME3, meaning 'for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction' so yes of course choosing the green option includes a pretty major sacrifice.
No.
Organic life is extremely orderly. That whole "the Reapers are order to organic life's chaos" is Reaper mystical bullshit.
I believe that they might believe that, but don't tell me the player that's how it is.
Because I am not 5.
Spoilers I guess?
So you think the Reapers were lying when they said this same cycle has happened every 50k years? This is interesting, I'd never considered the ramifications of assuming large parts of the game were lies for you...
(But seriously -- you don't you think the game does more than enough to show that Organics are warmongers? I mean it's my interpretation that the entire nonsense with the Krogans is to establish #1- Organics are violent warmongers whose only ethics are survival and #2- an imbalance in the binary pair (male/female) creates an unsustainable imbalance over time. Hence why joining the Organics/Synthetics in the Green Ending is the only way to permanently end the galactic imbalance and not just create a new cycle.)
Er, no.
I believe that the 50k year cycles were real. There is so much evidence in the game that this is a real phenomena. What I don't believe is that the Reaper's motivation is correct. To put it quite simply: They are full of shit.
Do they believe in what they are doing? Sure. Are they right? Not by a long shot. Everything Shepard did proves that, and fuck the writer who played a completely different game than me and came to the conclusion that "now everyone is the same so no more fighting" is a good thing.
Also.
Just because you hired a bunch of BSG alums to do voicework doesn't mean you get a pass for ripping off their ending.
I don't think this needs a spoiler, but...
I found the themes of the game (and coincidentally, BSG) to be heavily inspired by the Akira manga. So there.
And yes, my overall interpretation of the ending is that it's a fallacy to think there is a 'good' and an 'evil' and that is The Point of the game. So your pro-Organic interpretation is flawed from jump to me, just FYI.
And everyone should read the complete Akira manga because it's way, way better than BSG and actually I kinda thought the ME trilogy was the highwater mark for digital gaming so I dunno how I'd really compare it to Akira...

your posts intrigue me
the last year or so i have replaced actual exercise with babby related excercise
doing push ups with son on back
tossing son onto the couch like a medicine ball
throwing son as close to the ceiling as i can without him hitting
etc.
an actual indoor workout routine sounds much better!
Please consider the environment before printing this post.

I've been considering P90X-ing until I watched one of the videos and homey was basically just doing plyometrics and pull-ups. Excitedly.
Really? They released a gimmick workout regimen based around your grandfather's old timey workout moves and then something basketball players have known about for decades now?
Worst night for a speech in a while. What possessed them to schedule the SotU on Fat Tuesday?
Large swaths of the country are not going to be watching, me included (for the first time since... 1992).
Besides like, you, I think the vast majority of people that care about Mardi Gras enough to go get shitfaced aren't the kinds of people that would watch SOTU anyway.

Its over in like second, the version with cars and such can be a bit annoying since they often result in a pretty exaggerated shoulder shake. But the other kind is very pleasant. It feels good to somehow feel a physical reaction to an emotional part of a book or something.

That's older than nerdgasmic, right? I lose track so easily.
Hey @Form of Monkey! - how's the inevitable diminishing of all life's possibilities treating you?
Yup, me too.
:-l
I'd high5 you but you know, arthritis.
Oh except we lost @Inquisitor last night to self-exile
At least I put fraud alerts on my credit report the instant I learned about it, but it's still a hassle.

This is the weirdest realization.
Spool just imagine graduating from high school in 2000.
Just imagine that for a moment.
That's basically a fetus.

What? No! Why!?
This is the only place besides Reddit that I can visit at work, so for god's sake can we please stop hemorrhaging good posters?
25 might be the mode age of chat.
now shit is broken
wat
Also the whole "organic life is chaos" thing is too silly for an allegedly super intelligent machine race to form a religion around.
So the reapers are dumb and evil.

Apparently Inquisitor, if I'm reading this correctly.
AHA! CAUGHT YOU!
YOU WERE SECRETLY A CAT ALL ALONG!
