I LOVED the Gamecube version, and this looks rad and all...but there is a part of me that misses the NES games. Those were easily my most prized possessions and in a pre-Virtual Console existence it was kind of mind-blowing that they would show up in a game.

Gamestop is the only US retailer taking pre-orders right now, I believe. But I fully expect Best Buy and Amazon to get on the train eventually. I just personally want to pay it off a little at a time.
If I have enough money from my severance after paying credit cards I am totally paying off a 3DS XL with this game.

I know that Nintendo is aiming for a younger audience, but the lady's voice in those trailers kills me. I can't explain it.
I learned more about the dream address stuff recently. There's your normal friend code, that you give to people and they can use it to come to your town and hang out with you. Then there's your dream code that you can give out, and anyone can visit your town but they can't cut down trees or ruin flowers or anything like that. Which is pretty cool.

Their return policies on hardware do not mesh. Amazon wants to refund the customer and send the system back to Nintendo and be credited, Nintendo wants the customer to send the system to them for free repair. I'm guessing there's something to do with the cut Amazon gets or wants as well because I'm pretty sure you can return systems to other B&M stores.
