Ok, finally got around to seeing IM3 and am trying to read through the thread ('cause y'alls is fascinating).
Haven't seen anyone comment on the re-appearance of the assistant from the cave of the first movie as a forgettable cameo guy in the party scene in this one.
Am I the only one who noticed that?

I noticed it, so did my entire movie theater, but they did because of the marathon.

Feige says that we'll see Extremis again and that SHIELD was very busy during the events of Iron Man 3, and we will find out why-- I'm guessing Cap 2 takes place at the same time
I checked the Twitter account Feige was using, and he also said that he wants to put Happy in the armor sometime

Another thing I just read-- Harley's actor? Kid signed a three-picture deal
Marvel apparently envisioned a scenario where they would need him for two more films and decided they'd better lock him down

i read all of the immortal iron fist on y'alls recommendation
I thought the idea of the illuminati members being part of a clandestine organization was actually super dumb when I first heard it, but now that it's actually out there in front of everyone it seems like they could do cool things with it

well, it's not exactly out there in this story
Black Panther calls them together again in secret to face a huge threat, one that forces them to contemplate horrible solutions.

This series is not about them being out in the open
The basic thrust of the series involves Black Panther discovering a looming threat of unimaginable scope, and so he calls the Illuminati together so they can plot a plan to stop it without letting anyone know (because they are afraid of what they might have to do).
Hm, that's potentially very interesting and potentially very stupid
I'm not sure what would qualify as an "unimaginable threat" to the guys who were running around with the Infinity Gems for a while, but I'm curious where Hickman would take it

Why is it crazy to measure things by the main mode of transportation for hundreds of years.
It's vestigial, but it isn't arbitrary.
I live in the here & now and the ever future.

some people mentioned it early in the thread.
And it's hardcover, which I dislike.
it's out of print

it was a good recommendation
He mispronounced Coruscant. And technically, X-23 is Wolverine's clone.
No idea if this is real
But I feel like I'd watch that movie
really guy
this is the post you're going to make?
really
But the first six issues of Hickman's run on Avengers are pretty all right I tell you what
technically, Wolverine officially adopted her, so legally, she's his daughter.
New Avengers is better
Hickman just has so much respect for all of the characters and the reader, you can just feel it in every word balloon and every conflict
Is there a new lineup in New Avengers or is it basically the same as in Bendis's run?
Its not really connected at all.
The New Avengers team is the Illuminati.

It is only logical to answer such nerdom with more nerdom.
That's not entirely clear as he may have been possessed by a demon at that time.
That's standard
