I spent a few moments trying to figure out what SJW stood for, and for a few seconds my brain stubbornly attempted to shoehorn some sort of DBZ reference in there.
man, it's hard enough to get a constant DSL connection to some of those reservations, I don't think they have the bandwidth to snatch kids up off the internet

You are still going to be totally fine, there are wonderful people in that city, however Portland consists of two major groups twenty somethings and their minimum wage jobs that are terrible with finances and responsibilities (aka your future room mates) and people who have started a career and realized, holy shit, I need my own space, and live in a nice loft or apartment and hardly invite anyone inside for fear of it turning into a portlandia den
It's not for the same reason. The guy apologized and explained that his roommate's new housing simply fell through. In fact, I might even still end up moving there down the road.
