Welcome to the Inaugural Cryptic Card Exchange thread!

Have you been following the Secret Santa threads, but due to having $NotTexas, feel unable to contribute? Well here’s the budget option! At the core of this thread is the desire to reach to somebody across the state/country/continent/world and express a bit of Seasonal Cheer.

“What sort of card should I send?” Whatever you want! Funny, sincere, ironic, hipster, homemade, storebought: It’s the thought that counts, the intention to express classy and joyful feelings to your fellows!

So how do you sign up? !Sign Up, that’s how! And then PM me – make sure you distinguish Cryptic Cards from Secret Santa – With your Name and Address. You have until the 20th of November to sign up. I hope to assign Cardees and Santees at the same time. Unlike Secret Santa, signing up for this is an agreement to post to anywhere in the world. The same restrictions for who can join Secret Santa exist here, and I reserve the right to refuse admission.

Also keep in mind you can sign up for both Secret Santa and Cryptic Card. Double the fun! And you can send a card to your Santee if you want as well. We’re aiming for maximum classiness here.

wooo, Christmas is not canceled, the card I had just about given up for lost arrived this very day in the post, along with, dun dun duuuun, a card from someone who might be a stranger on the internet!

I shall open and report on this card in the morning. Well. Later on in the morning! seeing as it is past 2:30AM here, I'm still kind of drunk, and can't find my phone anywhere because it's at the bottom of my 40-lb shoulder bag and there's no way I'm gonna find it right now.
