At first, I read that as "fallen comrades' remains into the supply locker," and I was all ... I guess we could make, like, a club ... ?

RIP guys, you don't have to fight anymore. We'll keep on for you.

Taking a handful of leveled up people only to encounter scads of level one noobs doesn't sound like a recipe for longterm survival.
It also kind of feels like one of those nightmare sequences in a TV show or movie. No matter how many times you walk through that door, you just end up in the same room. An odd concept to charge money for.

While we were away Iolo found some building materials and Elvenshae found some ammunition alongside some materials. A call comes in from another group of survivors that want help finding one of their community members, NotoriusBEN gears up to go out and help them. He meets Luke at their home and they go out to a warehouse to start looking for Wyatt. At the entrance to the warehouse they take out some zombies blocking the way and inside they find Wyatt. After escorting Wyatt home his group gives us some food as payment and NotoriusBEN goes to a house to search it. Taking out some zombies along the way improves his fighting skill to level 3. The search improves his wits skill to level 2, he doesn't find much of note aside from some food. He would load the food into a rucksack and run it home but, across the street he spots a juggernaut and doesn't want to make much noise lest he attracts its attention.
His next stop is a warehouse, making sure to steer clear of the hordes that have popped up. Inside he finds some blunt weapons and two stacks of materials, running back one of the stacks he drops it off in the supply locker and Skiddles takes over for him. Another group of survivors want to join us and Skiddles is tasked with escorting them to the home. Going out to the minimart that the group calls home, he meets with the survivors and has them pack up before going to the home. Some zombies are drawn to the noise of the move and Skiddles takes them out before they threaten the other survivors. At home the three new survivors introduce themselves to the rest of the group, escorting them home also improved Skiddle's leadership skill to level 5.
Joining us is Wyatt "Splint Chesthair" Varga. The father figure trait means that he's less likely to have conflicts with other members of the group. He has the farmer trait like Iolo. The dentist trait gives him the medical skill that improves the chances someone's able to recover from illness or injury. The bad back trait means that he has more trouble running around when he's encumbered than others do.
Also joining us is Luke "Lex" Luther. The daydreamer and read comic books traits don't do anything useful. The cosplayed trait gives him the useless arts and crafts skill. The one useful trait that he does have is nimble, it gives the very useful reflexes skill that Nocturnal also has.
Finally, the last survivor joining us is Peyton "Butch Deadlift" Kaasik. The loner and Trumbull local traits don't do anything useful. The cop and liked range shooting traits mean that he starts with an improved shooting skill. The natural athlete trait gives him the very useful powerhouse skill like Slab had.
Work is started on a training area and Skiddles goes out to help Alan hunt down an armored zombie. Before he leaves he kills a screamer that had walked up to the back of the home. He drives out to the meeting area and once he arrives at the building Alan is inside and fighting off a group of zombies so he has to help. Skiddles blunt weapon specialization improves to level 4 during the fight. With the building clear the two of them go out to look for the armored zombie.
They find it just standing there and Alan runs up grabbing it from behind and ducks when Skiddles bashes its head in. Alan goes home and Skiddles goes to search the nearby warehouse, before he does so Lily calls him to say that they need some welding equipment to finish the training area. In the warehouse he's able to find some and puts it into his backpack to bring home. He also finds some medicine and loads it into the truck to bring home. At home he drops off the medicine in the supply locker and the welding equipment at the training area before having Nocturnal take over for him. She goes out to the warehouse that NotroiusBEN had searched and brings back the rest of the materials that were there. After dropping off the materials she hears that the training area was completed and that PLA is starting a fitness regimen for everyone. A call comes in from NotroiusBEN for some help and Nocturnal goes out to do so. She stops outside an office building and hears NotoriusBEN inside fighting a group of zombies, rushing in she helps him kill the zombies.
With the zombies eliminated NotroiusBEN runs home and Nocturnal drives home, along the way she stops by a house to grab a stack of food to bring home. After dropping it off in the supply locker she goes to bed to get some rest.
Sorry for the short update. I didn't pay attention to when I started playing and I cut it a bit too short.

While we were away Felix found some materials and food and Alan found some ammunition and food. Starting off Felix goes to a house that still has some food because we've run out. He grabs the food and drops it off at home, afterwards he goes to a survey point to take a look around the area. He spots a new infestation and marks it down on the map then goes to a shed to look for some materials. On his way he takes out some zombies and improves his fighting skill to level 2, along with his reflexes skill to level 2 as well. Once the shed is searched he thinks that it's in a good spot for an outpost, except for the fact that it's too small to be made into one. Making a note to come back to the house and turn that into an outpost he runs the materials home. At home he's stopped by Punch who asks him for some combat training. They go out to a minimart and Felix shows Punch how to fight zombies up close. After clearing the building of the zombies inside they make their way to a house to practice shooting.
Felix knocks on the door alerting the zombies inside and Punch is on the front lawn ready to take aim at any zombies that come out. After shooting the zombies that come out to greet them, the two survivors go inside to kill the rest that stayed put. During the fighting Felix's reflexes skill goes up to level 2. With the house clear Punch heads home while Felix goes back to the house that he marked on his map to turn it into an outpost. The house he goes to has a pistol and suppressor inside along with some food that is loaded into a rucksack. Before he leaves he makes the call to turn the building into an outpost, then goes home to drop off the food. At home a call comes in for some help hunting an armored zombie and he drives out to meet them. He only drives a part of the way there, leaving it a ways away so he doesn't draw more zombies to the hunt and hopefully improve his cardio. While running to the meeting place he has to kill some zombies and improves his fighting skill to level 3. Right outside the house that's the meeting place Felix makes a new acquaintance.
Perhaps taunting it wasn't the best idea. The juggernaut was able to grab Felix but he's able to make it let go of him, before he does so the beast is able to take a bite of him. Knowing that with his wound he's unable to run away in time Felix jumps into a nearby car and gets ready to ram the freak. Not wanting to risk damaging the engine he uses the back of the car and plows into the juggernaut. It works! Kinda. The juggernaut doesn't die from the impact, instead it bounces off and is stunned. Taking the opportunity to escape he drives the car as fast as he can away from the freak, which is not very fast since the back two tires popped when he hit the juggernaut. When he's a safe distance away he tries to stop the bleeding from the juggernaut's bite and starts to wonder if internal organs can grow back. With the bleeding slowed to an acceptable level he pops some codeine so that he can make it back home before passing out from the pain. Somehow he's able to make it back home and has Buttcleft take over for him so that he can go to the medical area and pass out. Buttcleft ignores Felix's questions about how healthy his kidneys are and goes out to find Alan who's gone missing. He drives to a house and starts looking for Alan, taking the time to search the house as well. In the kitchen he finds Alan and the two of them load some food that Buttcleft had found into the truck.
Some zombies came over to see if they could help and Alan starts fighting them, Buttcleft uses his assault rifle to kill a few. The good news is that the zombies went down easily, the bad news is that the suppressor on Buttcleft's assault rifle is worn out and attracts more zombies to the area. Buttcleft jumps into the truck and is yelling at Alan to get inn before more zombies show up. After Alan bashes in the last zombies head he gets in the truck and they drive home. Buttcleft drops off Alan and the food at home and then has to go out to help Splint hunt an armored zombie. Getting into the truck he drives out and hopes that the juggernaut that Felix ran into is no longer in the area. On the way to the meeting place he gets out of the truck and gets his assault rifle out in case the freak is still there. Luckily, it seems that the juggernaut left the area and Buttcleft meets with Splint to kill the armored zombie.
They go out to the home's storage building and find the zombie just standing there. Splint runs up and grabs it from behind, holding it still so that Buttcleft can cut through its head in one swing of his axe. With that done Splint runs home and Buttcleft goes to the nearby construction site to look for some materials. While searching it his wits skill goes up to level 2 and after killing some zombies that came over his heavy weapons specialization goes up to level 6. He finds two stacks of materials and loads one of them into the truck before driving home. With the new materials work is started on improving the watchtower. Nobody needs his help right now so Buttcleft goes out to build an outpost at a nearby store. Inside the store he finds some food and loads it into a rucksack then turns the building into an outpost. There are two infestations that have to be cleared, but at least most of the area won't become infested anymore. Driving the food home Buttcleft then goes to the sleeping area to get some rest.
Sorry for the absence of updates, I took a bit of a break from the game because it felt like I was getting burned out on it. Came back to it and I was able to enjoy the game, I just need to make a note to use the grenade launcher more since that was able to put a smile on my face. Updates will be coming and hopefully I don't need to take anymore long breaks like that again.
I'm ready to explode anything that needs exploding. Or doesn't. The key to your enjoyment is my making things go boom.

While we were away the watchtower was improved to a shooting platform, Elvenshae found some materials, Splint found some fuel, Felix found some medicine, and Iolo found some ammunition. Starting off Dirk needs to go out and find some more food since we have run out. Before he leaves work is finally started on disinfecting the RV. Fighting some zombies along the way to a house improves his fighting skill to level 4. No food is found in the house but he does find some weapons and materials that he runs back home. On the way home he uses his rifle to kill a few zombies and realizes that he needs to attach a suppressor to it if he wants to keep using it. At home he drops the materials off and tries to drop the weapons off but can't, since the supply locker is full. He makes room for the new weapons by discarding some 2x4's that are too heavy to be considered useful. Grabbing a suppressor from the supply locker, along with some ammo, he attaches it to his rifle before going to help another survivor hunt down an armored zombie.
The rifle proves useful for taking out some zombies behind the meeting place, he even gets lucky and has a shot go through a zombie and kill the one behind it. He meets with Shirley and the two them start looking for the armored zombie. They find it in a shed and easily kill it. Shirley heads home and Dirk gets a call from Lily asking for some plastic sheeting for the RV. Luckily the shed has some sheeting inside and he grabs it, along with the grenade that he found alongside it. Going inside the house to look for food he's able to find some and loads it into a rucksack before going back home. At home he drops off the food and hears that Sutibun ran into a horde and is now missing. With the plastic sheeting that Dirk drops off the RV is now clean enough, the upholstery still has some blood in it, to be roadworthy. Dirk goes back to the house to search the rest of it. He doesn't find anymore food but he does finds some materials that he grabs to bring back home. Running back to his car he stops because a horde is passing right by it, unfortunately four zombies are hanging around the drivers side door. The horde is going to walk into a nearby outpost's traps so he takes aim at the zombies near the car door, cursing the fact that he forgot to reload his rifle and only has two rounds. Hearing the explosion from the outpost's traps he gets ready to fire on the remaining zombie, but stops himself. The explosion caught the zombie's attention and are moving away from the car, making sure not to make any noise he sneaks over to the car door and climbs in. He starts the car, shifts it into reverse, opens the door, and hits the accelerator. The zombies look over just in time to see the car door slamming into them, with the way clear Dirk drives home. The new materials are used to start working on upgrading the sleeping area to real beds instead on cots and sleeping bags. Dirk is then told that Buttcleft hasn't been seen for a while and goes out to his last known location. He finds Buttcleft in a shed with blood all over his clothes, luckily he's still able to walk and after searching the shed and grabbing some food they go back to the truck.
Some zombies gathered around the truck again but Dirk was ready this time. After dropping the zombies near it the two survivors get into the truck and drive home. With Buttcleft home safe and the food stored in the supply locker Dirk goes to bed and has Iolo take over for him. Iolo wants to take out the infestations in the area but first he goes to a survey point to make sure that no more have popped up. Looking around he spots anther infestation just across the bridge, he also thinks that he saw Sutibun at a nearby warehouse. Before he takes care of the infestations Iolo goes over to the warehouse hoping to find Sutibun. Inside he doesn't find anyone so he goes to another warehouse nearby. Again the warehouse is empty, but he does notice a faint trail of fresh blood leading outside in the direction of a house. He runs over hoping he's not too late. Inside the house he spots Sutibun bandaging his arm and he explains what happened. While out scavenging he ran into a horde and had to run away while fighting off the zombies. He made it away safely but a zombie had bitten into his arm injuring it. He had cleaned the wound and dressed it, but his arm was hurting so much that he could barely move it without receiving a jolt of pain for his trouble. He was trying to make his way home without being spotted by any zombies, but in the process reopened his wound. After finishing redressing the wound Iolo agrees to escort him home, Sutibun points out some food that he noticed in the house and Iolo grabs that as well. They leave the house quietly because in his haste to address his wound, Sutibun had taken refuge in a house right next door to one of the infestations. They encounter a few zombies, but they fall quickly to Iolo's blade. At home Sutibun goes to the medical area to get some rest and Iolo grabs a round for his grenade launcher from the supply locker. Asking Nocturnal to come with him Iolo heads out to take care of the three infestations in the area. They drive out to the first one and Iolo takes out his grenade launcher.
He launches a round through the broken window into the house and takes out the infestation in one shot. They go inside and make a sweep of the house to make sure there are no zombies left, they don't find anymore and they get back in the truck to drive over to the next infestation. Sadly Iolo only had one round for the grenade launcher so he switches over to his pistol. Outside the next infestation they see a screamer in front of the gate leading to the house and Nocturnal runs up to silence it before it warns the other zombies. Opening the gate they take out the few zombies that are outside and then get ready to go inside the house. Iolo kicks open the door and Nocturnal quickly kills the zombie that was knocked down, Iolo rushes in and the two of them start killing any zombie they see. Luckily the only screamer in the area was outside so all they have to deal with are regular zombies. When the last zombie falls the infestation is clear and Iolo wants to drive right over to the next infestation. They drive across the bridge and stop near a warehouse that is the last infestation in the area. Iolo uses his silenced pistol to take out the few zombies outside the warehouse and then he and Nocturnal get ready to go inside. The door is already open and Iolo spots the group of zombies against the far wall, he then rushes in to start attacking them.
Unfortunately the infestation's screamer is in the corner and when it spots Iolo, starts living up to its name. The noise stuns Iolo and Nocturnal, who was coming inside as well. the zombies rush Iolo and he finds himself surrounded, one of the zombies grabs him from behind and sinks its teeth into his shoulder. He cries out in pain but is able to smash the zombie's face in with his elbow, dislodging it from his shoulder and he then breaks its hold on him allowing him to push it away. Nocturnal had already recovered from the freak's scream and is cutting through the zombies, she yells at Iolo to take out the screamer before it starts howling again. Iolo tries to get over to it but the zombies block his path, he starts swinging at them trying to make a clear path when the screamer starts howling again. Another zombie grabs him, from the front this time, and goes for his neck. Iolo is able to stop it from biting into his neck and throws it off of him. He gets hit a few more times by the zombies but he's able to make a clear path to the screamer. He yells and cuts through the freak's neck in one swift stroke, he then looks over and sees Nocturnal trying to catch her breath after taking out the rest of the zombies. With the infestation cleared Iolo starts searching the warehouse while Nocturnal takes a quick break. He finds a large backpack that he grabs then Nocturnal and he get into the truck and drive home to get some rest.

Could we get a list of our current survivors please.
Currently playing: GW2 and TSW
As always the current list of survivors is on the first page, except it hasn't been updated to account for skill level increases. An updated list will be posted alongside the next update.
As for the changes in the next difficulty level, I don't know. I'm assuming that the number of zombies and their strength will go up, but beyond that I don't know.
I heard there are some big changes that manifest as you go up. As in, zombies not showing on the minimap, outpost zones being drastically decreased, special zombie spawn rates going up dramatically, base invasions spawning at an ever increasing rate, etc.

While we were away PLA went missing, Lex found some medicine, Elvenshae found some medicine and food, and Dirk found some medicine. NotoriusBEN goes out to look for some food since we're completely out. Going out to a house that was already searched he grabs the last of the food there to bring it home. All of the food is immediately eaten by the hungry survivors, he then goes out to search another house for some more food. Finding two stacks of food he grabs one and runs it home. After dropping it off at home he stats to go back for the other stack. A horde gets a bit too close to the house and he goes to another one a bit farther away. Inside he finds another stack of food and runs it home. With the food shortage taken care of he can start looking for some other supplies. Since the group is going to use the RV to leave here soon, it doesn't make much sense to run supplies back. Instead, his goal is find some better gear that the group can use, the first place he's going to search is the courthouse. While driving over there he starts thinking about what's going to happen next. Nobody wants to talk about it, but not everyone can fit in the RV. Some of the other survivors that came here in another RV said that they had left him behind before. It feels like he should remember them, but he just can't. Regardless of whether or not he knew them before, he's friends with them now, and he doesn't want to say goodbye. Stopping at the courthouse he gets out and heads inside to look for anything useful. In a locker he finds three batons that he throws in his backpack. In the desks he keeps on finding whiskey bottles, he finds a total of three and carefully stores them in his backpack thinking that they can be used as explosives, or if need be a quick morale booster. The search improves his wits skill to level 3. In the back of the courthouse he finds a cage that has some boxes of ammunition, opening one up he finds 9, 5.56, and 7.62 mm ammo and tosses all of it into his backpack. With his backpack full he needs to unload it, not wanting to go all the way back home he goes to a nearby building to set it up as an outpost. Outside the courthouse he uses some zombies to improve his shooting skill to level 2. While making his way over to the corner store he gets a call from Lily to take a look around, there's a survey point right next to the store so he climbs it to take a look around.
Looking around he spots a nearby horde that is close by and he watches it hoping that it doesn't come towards him. The horde makes its way over the nearby bridge and is taken out by one of the outposts. Other than the horde he didn't spot anything else of note. Climbing back down he goes inside the shop to make sure that it's clear. Taking out the zombies inside improve his fighting skill to level 5. With the store clear he turns it into an outpost and empties the contents of his backpack into the supply locker. After that he decides to drive home so that he can get some rest. At home Sutibun takes over for NotoriusBEN. He goes out to a nearby warehouse that PLA has been spotted near. Finding her in the warehouse he's able to convince her to come back home. After escorting her home he drives over to the new outpost that NotoriusBEN set up o meet Alan nearby and hunt down a feral zombie. They find the freak in an office nearby and it rushes out, knocking down Sutibun in the process. Alan knocks it off of Sutibun and after he gets up the two of them are able to kill the freak. Alan runs home and Sutibun goes down the street to search the police station. Before he makes it to the police station he spots a horde in front of it, he gets in a nearby car and uses it to take the horde out. With the area safe he goes inside the station and starts looking for anything useful. He finds an SMG, some pistols, and two more rounds for Iolo's grenade launcher. The station is not yet fully searched but his backpack is full so he goes back to the outpost to drop the supplies off. After he empties his backpack he gets a call from Lily, no-one has seen Felix for a while so she asks Sutibun to see if he can find out where he is.
Outside the house that Felix was last seen at Sutibun kills some zombies and has his fighting skill improve to level 5. Inside the house he doesn't find anyone, not that he expected to, and goes to another house nearby hoping to find Felix. The house is clear but he hears some noise coming from the shed out back. Carefully making his way to the shed's door he readies his tire iron in case its just more zombies. Opening the door he rushes in and sees Felix inside, about to hit him with his candlestick. He stops before he makes contact and explains that he thought he was a zombie. The two lower their weapons and Sutibun asks Felix what happened to him, his clothes are covered in blood. Felix says that he ran into another survivor and won't say anything else about what happened. Sutibun tries to get more out of him but Felix won't say anything else. he decides to drop the matter and escorts Felix home so that he can get some rest. On the way home he grabs some food to drop off in the supply locker. At home he drops off the food and Felix goes to get some rest, thinking that Felix has the right idea Sutibun gets some rest as well. Dirk takes over for him and heads to the police station to finish searching it. At the police station he finds a grenade and a revolver that he puts in his backpack. He opens up a case of ammunition and puts the various rounds in his backpack, he then loads a few more cases into a rucksack and runs it home. After unloading everything into the supply locker he goes out to grab some more food. At one of the houses that were already searched he grabs the last bits of food and runs it home. After dropping it off he decides to get some rest.
Like I said last update we're moving on to the next difficulty level. I need you to vote on which survivors are moving on along with us. Choose five survivors from the following list that get to go in the RV.
Sorry for the length, nested spoilers are still screwed up right now.
Abraham "Elvenshae" Heine Damien "Iolo" Chatman Adeline "Nocturnal" Hagen Carlos "Buttcleft" Mayes Zion "Skiddles" Keller Ed "Felix Nutpuncher" Jones Izabella "PLA" Choi Jimmy "Alan" Rosenberg Andres "Sutibun" Alvarado Omar "NotoriusBEN" Gal Nicholas "Dirk Hard-Cheese" Bermudez
Some information about how I'm going to handle recruiting other survivors. When someone signs up they'll be a hero that shows up, at whatever point they do after they're unlocked. I will not be recruiting other groups of survivors. The only exception being if the group has someone that was left behind, either in this move or the one before.

I've started playing State of Decay (the main game), and I think I'm not very good yet. I keep trying to clear a house and drawing aggro on a passing horde.
What should I be prioritizing at the start? (I'm in the second location, the church.)

No, it wasn't an RV wipe and it wasn't a catastrophe. I don't want to say too much until I'm able to check on the status of the save game on Monday. All I'll say is that not everyone survived the transition to difficulty level three (combination of bad luck and me being an idiot).
But tips about the game I can give, I think. At the start you should prioritize resource gathering. Food and medicine are the most important, once you have a good stockpile of medicine you only need to get more if someone gets sick and uses up a lot of it. Food you'll always need to get, though a garden can help alleviate some of the pressure. Ammo is used for trades and some random events so it's a good idea to have at least a dozen stacks of it in storage. For fuel you can grab a rucksack of it and just use it to expand the range of your outposts for a single unit each day, just make sure you don't run out. You are building outposts, right? If not, BUILD OUTPOSTS! They keep your home from getting attacked by hordes all the time. On that note the church isn't the worst location, but as soon as you can, move to at least the home down the street that has the wall around it, just make sure to have enough materials to build a watchtower since it doesn't have one already built. The church's problem is that hordes can attack from the forest and since there are no buildings in the forest, you can't build outposts to take them out. Other than that I can't say much since I've only played the Breakdown DLC and not the main game so I don't know about the story missions.
