Neat Adventure Time - dealing with heavy duty stuff, having Finn be mad about losing his arm. Tha's neat. Kinda figured it'd just be forgotten about.
Not knowing the details I'd be guessing it would be hard to forget losing an arm. Unless he suffered brain trauma too. Or got it back.
Still adventure time seems like the kind of show to have continuity to important things like that.
He got an awesome cursed sword stuck on his arm - a blade of grass that was a bracelet but also transformed into a sword when needed. Was super cool. Then events occurred and he ended up having the blade of grass ripped off - along with the arm it was attached to, up to the elbow. He had some magical healing gloop fall on the stump but it just caused a flower to sprout rather than regrow his arm.
This episode had him trying out a prosthetic but failing to do some household tasks with it, getting mad and destroying it. A phantom limb appeared in place of his arm and he was using it to build a tower to space to try and get revenge on the guy who took his arm. Princess Bubblegum deceives him into forgiving the guy, and he went home and pulled the tower down. As he approached Jake, his silhouette had both arms.
Just think it's neat, having Finn lose an arm and not play it for laughs or be immediately glossed over with no consequences. I imagine kids who've lost limbs must be pretty psyched to have a hero in a similar situation, without it talking down to them or being a Very Special Episode or anything.
I went in as skeptically as possible, because the other 30 for 30s I watched were actually kind of underwhelming, and these directors seemed like d-bags
very well done though

i am not sure drug prohibition is actually effective for as long as it is tacitly seen as a status good, but engineering status in the US is ridiculously clumsy (cough nancy reagan cough)

Episode S06E04 was something else too (The Tower).
Adventure Time in general has become quite good at dealing with serious things well in its fantastical universe.
Princess Bubblegum is becoming scary though. Realpolitik in the Candy Kingdom.
