Greetings, fellow apes! Welcome to my class, "Collapsed Civilizations and their pointless pastimes"

Today we will discuss a thing humans called "movies", or as an old human "philosopher" (yes I know it sounds far-fetched) once called them,

The Analogy of the Cave!

So let us all stare at the dancing shadows on the cave wall, and ignore the real world outside as it rises up and casts us out as the parasites we are! They were thoroughly awful, humans, weren't they!

    The trailers look amazing and Rise was excellent.

    I did. I didn't love it. There were a lot of cool bits but it did bore me in places. But it is a film I will happily rewatch.

    I find something kind of off-putting about Caesar's CGI as well. He looks good, but he doesn't really look real, and he definitely doesn't look (to me) like a real chimp.

    I'm super late to the party on this but I saw 22 Jump Street and it was pretty rad

    I think I actually liked it better than the first one? The meta jokes were sometimes a little much but overall I loved it
