Well I just got a second exotic weapon bounty, while I'm still working on my first.

how am i supposed to fit normal bounties!

But I kind of just want to go home and try to farm up some gear to hit 24.

Finally got a legendary engram. 2 as a matter of fact! One turned into some hunter boots so eh, but the other is a pretty nice fusion rifle.

Also managed to get vanguard rep to 2 finally so now I have a purple chest. Only at 24 now, but i figure replacing my blues with lvl 20 blues, upgrading this new chest and maybe another purple should get me to 26 so I can start throwing myself into the grinder that is the vault.

I had that happen to me on mars once, typical mob spawns were replaced by all out chaos for like 5 minutes. It was actually challenging to survive

That one room in Ishtar Commons on Venus did the same thing
It was just cranking out Goblins and Hobgoblins for a while and then all of a sudden everything coming out had a yellow health bar

That is preceded by a message saying that both sides are preparing to attack or something close to that. The Fallen and the Hive start spawning stuff like crazy for a bit and then after a time it stops.

well i got some minor upgrades to my light i think from that

in that my chest piece i was using had no light and now this one does despite having way shittier defense

at skywatch on earth there is a cave that if you stand back enough, will pretty much constantly spawn like 8 enemies that you can gun down

over and over

and when you run out of ammo, you got into the cave that is littered with ammo and drops

Just a heads up, you're going to need arc weapons and solar weapons and lots of ammo.

well I was able to the pvp portion of the Invective exotic bounty in 3 matches, the Talon pvp is looking like its going to take about 10 for me

You go through the area in the level 5 story mission. Fine for the cave, though you wouldn't survive the public events in that area.

Does farming that cave really give so many drops that it is worth giving up doing stuff that also gives rep, marks, and progress towards permanent bonuses (like doing X number of strikes)?

I'll probably mess around with the cave of wonders a bit today.

But what I really need to do is spend time in the strike playlist to work on my rank 1 strike grimoir card, if anyone wants to chain a bunch of level 22 or 24 strikes.

So, I got literally all of the Helium, Spinmetal, and Relic Iron I need for upgrading my armor (96 Helium, 48 Iron, 36 Spinmetal).

Now I just need to farm shards.

The Dust Palace is a neat strike because the end boss isn't one big tough dude, it is three still pretty tough Psions with different elemental vulnerabilities

Makes for a fun, frantic encounter

I really don't enjoy the frustration that comes with having a bounty reliant on K/D

I know I can complete it, it just makes every death very agitating

yeah thats the one I did last night, it brought on the rage during a couple of poor games like the old Halo days

I'm actually almost maxed out on Crucible marks for the week
