what is the advice i need to keep in mind
i know there's a lot of stuff with sidequests, like they give you all the sidequests in the game right off the bat so don't feel compelled to do them all right away, but then there are some tied to sidestories that are time-sensitive or something?
Go ahead and do the sidequests that have stop-watches next to them, if you feel like it. None of those are very important.
There's an area late in the game hwere finishing all the sidequests is very doable and the rewards for it are pretty sizable.
Don't worry about the sidequests early on. Expand your sidequesting as you feel comfortable taking on more quests.
At my friends insistence I redownloaded league to play a game on my new computer with him.
Played one match, had zero fun, had someone on my team trying to tell everyone to report me, remembered why I stopped playing in the first place and uninstalled the game. Whee.
Muting the chat/voice for pubs will save you a lot of pointless grief really
I am amazed that games still have chat in them at all. Why every game doesn't offer a robust communication wheel or VGS system is beyond me.
And honestly I don't really care if a stranger is rude to me on the internet, the main reason why I uninstalled is that I remembered that I find laning to be incredibly boring and that the vast majority of your time spent playing league is laning. Also not a huge fan of clicking with a mouse to move. It just ain't for me! That the community is hostile is just icing on the cake.
I can't remember how lol is but you can pretty much issue out effective enough information easily without any words in Dota 2 through various ways like drawing on the mini map and pinging and stuff
The chat is just mainly there for people to trashtalk
