It's Photography time again!

Hey guys, it's been probably a couple of years since the last time we've had a photo thread in SE, or at least one I've participated in. I know I haven't even posted anything new to my tumblr in over a year and have barely used my camera much since then.

But I was at a thing over the weekend so I got to get some use out of my camera again!

So I'm going to bombard you guys with them, and hopefully this thread will get me to start getting out there more. And I want to see what you beautiful people have been doing since then.

I'm also super glad this trip gave me the excuse to dig up my old flickr account because I managed to find one of my favorite pictures from years ago that I thought I'd lost. I only had a super small copy, and thought the original had been deleted or something.

i love the perfectly split / centred framing of this. it's a great shot - could be from a wes anderson flick.

I haven't gotten the latest photos off my camera or ready yet, but these are older ones I don't think I've shared before.


I was in that balloon, over a pond. Took the pic aiming straight down.


Same thing, but I like this a lot because it makes me think of Zelda.

It really is! We would like to move there as well one day. We went there for our honeymoon and then our trip there two weeks ago was for our 5 year anniversary, so we definitely like the place.

I occasionally come across pics from a Galaxy or iPhone with some retouching using phone apps and I am just like 'shit, I can't shoot like that from my DSLR'.
