It was inevitable this time. Nintendo has learned finally the money maker that dlc is.
At the very least, they seem to be handling dlc wonderfully and without it seeming like a rip off. Imagine SSB dlc in the same vein as the MK8 dlc. Huge content and cheap price. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.
Just had a really fun run of Bowser vs Ganondorf fights with a guy online with practically no lag. Man, that side b to dtilt hurts. I think he took it like 3-7.

Yoshi had been talked about in top tier since peeps got the Japanese release. I've played a few good ones online. It's so hard to do anything to him when he's aggressive.
I also played like 3 jiggs online too. Ranged from great to ok. One was dominating me but would always eat a smash and die at low %. The first one could rest me at any given moment and was quite scary. I thought they had made rest easier to land or something.

Challonge only does seeding so far as arranging brackets. I was hoping it kept track of player records from previous tournaments, but that's not the case.
So I have a made up a rankings chart that tracks your average placement in tournaments, and that's what I'll be using for seeding.
I just fought a good Pikachu online for the first time. Jesus. He was doing stuff with Quick Attack that I can't even describe. He used it for poking, spacing, approaching, comboing...I had no idea what I was doing.

I'm almost beginning to feel a little bad for the Marths and Lucinas I run into in For Glory. Having no projectiles kind of sucks when you're facing a super fighting robot who uses TONS OF PROJECTILES and can easily grab and throw you whenever you try to approach him by air.

Even with precise spacing, Marth's range just ain't what it used to be. I've definitely been well spaced by other characters -- I ran into a really good DK who kept me just outside the punishable range of his bair at all times -- so it's certainly possible even with the the circle pad.
That said, I'm looking forward to seeing how much characters like Marth and Jigglypuff (and Mega Man too!) improve with a cstick and no lag.

Funny, the Japanese version also has that exact same Zapper, but the Japanese Famicom Light Gun looked more like that one Yokoi toy gun that's in one of Wario Ware's micro games.
They're doing the exact opposite of what they did with ROB in Brawl. I'm glad the international NES color is thedefault one in international versions this time.
