Oh also everyone make sure you log into the Dragon Age Keep and make a worldstate even if you just keep all the base decisions there is a thing later on in the game you can only do if you pull a worldstate in from the keep.

You get to edit Hawke's face, if you don't pull a worldstate in its just plain default Hawke
Broboxers - Xbone controller + PC, yay or nay? Do you need win 8 for it to work? Does it need to plug in or does it work over blue tooth? If wired, does it use standard micro USB?
I have Win 8, but it should work with 7. I bought the xbone controller exclusively for PC and it works fine. No Bluetooth, I'm afraid, so plugged in. Standard micro USB does it.
While it's not considered one of the better Bond films - it's not bad, I'd put it maybe in my top 5, and it's easily the 2nd best Brosnan one - Tomorrow Never Dies has a wicked theme song
edit: I don't know why the tag image is The World is Not Enough. That's p. dumb.
I feel like brosnans bond movies were a steady decline. Goldeneye was best and each successive was worse
The worst part of that decline, to me, was how the seriousness of the tone lightened up until we got the mess that was Die Another Day. Windsurfing on the hood of a car while escaping a big wave isn't on the same level as moon lasers, but it's the closest we'd gotten to it in over 30 years.
I thought we were about to suffer the same decline when Quantum of Solace followed up Casino Royale, and then Skyfall comes out aaaaaand yeah it's got some real plot issues there, but nothing that wasn't balanced out by a fantastic emotional arc for two of its characters, as well as stunning cinematography thanks to Deakins (in a fair world, Deakins would have received all of the blowjobs for that movie).
Die Another Day has nothing to make up for it being a mess. Not even Halle Berry. Like, Denise Richards was bad as Christmas Jones in The World is Not Enough but at least you get the line "I thought Christmas only came once a year," plus Robert Carlyle's an awesome villain, and Sophie Marceaux was gorgeous in that film, and responsible for a lot of younger me's early fantasies.

This might sound crazy, but can you use it as a mouse one handed in your right hand? Would a mouse and keyboard game like DA:I b playable like that?
I was watching a stream over night of DAI and the player fund a old dwarven ruin mini dungeon and the level/art design was seriously out of this world
It gave me the same sense of discovery that playing WoW for the first time in 04 gave me, like I honestly could give who ever did that at Bioware enough kudos.

Nope the game has either PC controls or Console controls, from what I have seen I think the way the games handles the modes uniquely make even doing a weird joy2key config setup real hard to use.
They have their own unique UI's and the autoattacking is handled differently each way I believe.

Die Another Day suffered by coming out after The Bourne Identity, I think
All post-Bourne Identity action movies suffered for that, until they had a chance to reorient. What an amazing movie.
True story - I watched 300. Literally fell asleep. In the middle of the day. Sitting up. When I wasn't tired. I watched the Bourne Identity after I woke up and felt like action movies had been redeemed.

There are 30 minutes of slow-motion shots in 300.
Like, two things come to mind: 1) the more you use a thing, the less impact it has; 2) slowing things down doesn't make for energetic action.
Boring.
Even as a tool to create tension, the slow-mo shit is used so frequently that it loses its value as that. The Bourne Identity on the other hand, had some seriously tense moments. Like when he's climbing outside the embassy. Or the sequence in the stairwell. That's some good shit.

If I was to buy the following laptop, would anyone recommend making any changes? I'm really just asking about ram and ssd drives. Would definitely have them replace the thermal paste. Thanks:
I'm thinking 1080p + gtx970m should give the best experience at native resolution vs a 3k or 4k display (which is absurd on a 15" screen anyway.
Is dual channel memory still a thing, or so you not need matched dimms anymore?
Ssd wise, I'm guessing the adata or crucial is the way to go, with those high speeds, but it don't know anymore. Maybe Intel is still the king of ssd? If Samsung is the best, I might die, but I'd get it.

Get matching dimms omg. It is 70 dollars. Like.... 12 is enough ram but seriously, having an 8 and a 4 is just aesthetically unpleasant. And... I don't know if the dual channel would work... It certainly doesn't seem optimal.
But the main point is I will forever give you shit about being a poor for owning a laptop with 12 fucking gigs of ram.

@Jacobkosh I'm not in D&D as much as I used to be, but my playtime in ME3 was measured in weeks by the end. I'm pretty sure when this game hits it's going to ruin my perception of linear time.
The Bourne Identity was good. The sequels were way too formulaic in pacing ("we've had X minutes of dialogue, that's done, time for an action sequence then we'll do some more dialogue".

As far as playing games with a console controller on the PC, you can't really go wrong with an XBO or a 360 controller. Every PC game since the late 2000s has been building xinput into their titles, and lots of times the interface will even switch over to xbox 360-like assets (press green a button to jump) kind of stuff.
As of this moment, there is zero way to use the xbox one controller wirelessly. You need a micro-usb cable of whatever length running to your computer, and the drivers bloodyroar posted earlier on this page.
You can use the 360 controller wirelessly, but it involves buying a wireless dongle for your computer, and installing some drivers for it. There are drivers for both mac and PC for the 360 controller and they are very stable and mature.
There are tradeoffs between the two controllers, as neither completely beats out the other in all ways. The XBO controller generally feels better in the hands regarding weight distribution, and it has the absolute best d-pad this side of nintendo. The triggers also feel great.
The 360 controller can be used wirelessly and has vastly superior bumper buttons (the clickable top left and top right buttons) to the XBO, but a less than stellar D-pad.
PS4 controllers can connect via bluetooth to your computer, but you will spend a not-insignificant amount of time fiddling with 3rd party programs that are less than ideal to force the computer into seeing it as an xinput device.
Hope all this helps!

Nope its totally separate to the game nothing is passed back and forth that I have heard.
I work nights and usually sleep at about then, but that is my day off, so I will try to "stay up late."
Fair warning, I am brand new to my PS4, so I have no idea how to add friends or whatnot.
I have Win 8, but it should work with 7. I bought the xbone controller exclusively for PC and it works fine. No Bluetooth, I'm afraid, so plugged in. Standard micro USB does it.
Ill add you then sometime today.
