Jack goes to a creche. Even with his Aunt working there providing a discount it's like €50 a day.
It can be worth it though. He gets exercise and music class and all sorts of fancy stuff cooked for lunch that neither of his parents could hope to do.
He's already eaten more Moroccan food than I have, and he's lived for 1/15 of my life.
okay, so the comic thing goes from noon tomorrow until noon sunday.
it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow (which is bullshit)
would you guys like to meet up sunday morning for maybe breakfast and then go check these comic artists out?
Sure. Is know nowhere with good breakfast in phili though.
I assume you aren't trying to do all 24 hours
I WAS GOING TO, but rain is like a no.
and I was thinking Ihop over on Sansom. then walk on over to South St. catch a bit of the comic people and maybe walk into a sex shop and traumatize Elendil.
cause I just did the bulk of my Christmas shopping. I need to keep spending a little light right now so I can pay student loans (which I'll be able to before someone goes "YOU PUT YOUR SHOPPING BEFORE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?!")
That sounds fine.
We could also totally go to not IHOP, and you could let be dispose of some income, a) I'm doing well and b) I probably won't get a chance to see you again. Ell too.
Like, we could go brunch our asses off.
brunch where?
I don't know the city. I'll poke around in the morning and see what's near the comic shop if you or @Elendil don't know of anything.
Valanni is pretty nice and their "Boys Gone Wild" is delicious. I don't know if it's out of your +us price range though.
@Mim@Elendil
Valanni seems legit. Does 10:00ish work? Should I get a reservation?

10 works. I hope they move fast so we can see the end of the comic thing.
but I may be full of drinks by then so I might not care.
Is that primarily education, or providing childcare?
childcare. You can't educate toddlers :P
Or, well, depends on the age of the child of course. It goes up to five years, and there is some education in it. All kindergartens must have a kindergarten/pre-school teacher on staff.
So, okay, both.

We have Montessori and such for rich people to give their kids a leg up, starting around 2 years or so.
We have (had? I'm not sure) preschool which is the equivalent then. You're using the term wierd :P
1000 euro a month sounds just crazy to me - the legal maximum price here is 273 € a month, for one child, if you make over 30'000 € a year
American Kindergarten is roughly one year of finger painting, nap time, making hand turkeys, and learning basic numbers and letters and stuff. Immediately after that year starts grade school.

Jack is 22 months old. He enrolled at 18, and could have gone sooner.
Also new chat!
