Ha, my thoughts exactly. While I love collecting pins, it can really take away from my time at PAX. Plus, PAX South falls on my birthday, so that's a whole day I won't really have for collecting.
On another note, does anyone have any spare patches from East 2012 back, AUS 2013, and Prime 2011 back? Would happily trade for pins or something equal at South.
That is Dream Scenario for me.

I just figured those were the same thing, but maybe they are different. If we're speculating -- maybe they'll have one booth that is just for show-specific merch (pins, show shirt, etc.) and one for everything else.
As far as the pins go, I hope that the Undead Labs pin is a new one (maybe for State of Decay) rather than just more of the Moonrise one from Prime.
